About this Retreat
Your Guides
Sarah believes in combining mind, breath, body movement and nutrition to better manage our emotions, health and overall quality of life. Combining yoga with travel is Sarah’s secret recipe to live inspired in a body that feels amazing.
You can find Sarah leading yoga classes at Eau Claire Fitness. Her teaching draws from ParaYoga, Tantra, Hatha and Vinyasa traditions. Leading from a decade of experience studying with several yoga teachers, personal retreat travel, in depth research and training, you can expect props and therapy focus in her class.
Sarah trained for her Yoga Certification at Devanadi Yoga in Minneapolis, MN with emphasis in Anatomy, Ayurveda and Energy Medicine.

Group transfers from Akureyri airport to lodging
Inland transfers to apartments, yoga classes & excursions
Lodging: 7 nights in Akureyri
Daily Activities: Yoga Class in Morning + Excursion in Afternoon
Meals: Starting with dinner on the first night, all breakfasts, lunches & 4 dinners
*3 open dinners in Akureyri on your own

The adventure and once in a lifetime trip to Iceland is the focus.
Yoga gets sprinkled in to start off each day in an all-levels class to wake up, stretch and set the tone.
No yoga experience necessary and all yoga classes are optional.
Traveling solo?
No problem! Most of our attendees actually are solo travelers.
We will match you with another solo traveler or feel free to upgrade to a private room with single occupancy.

Schedule
Each day begins with a breakfast in the comfort of your lodging followed by a yoga session to stretch and set the tone for the day. Lunch is provided in local Akureyri restaurants before heading out for an afternoon excursion. We return back to town or a local private dinner before heading back to lodging for rest and relaxation.

Directions
Flights come into Reykajavik and then a second smaller flight is taken via Icelandair into Akureyri. We will share more details with you to further assist you in booking your flights.
Accommodation
Two lodging options available. Shared Apartments with full amenities or Hotel stays in the center of town. Apartment kitchens are stocked for breakfast and snacks while the backyards offer a jacuzzi.
