Following your Calling
A journey of listening, engaging with purpose and inner guidance.
Grounded in the spiritual community of the Park Ecovillage, Findhorn
Do you sense that you are here for a reason, that there is a purpose seeking to emerge and express itself through you? How might you discern the call of that purpose?
Following Your Calling is an invitation to pause, reflect and listen more deeply to the directions unfolding in your life. Through shared practice, gentle enquiry and the supportive environment of community, this programme offers space to explore the path of your personal calling and how the conditions of your life can support that calling.
There is a tradition at Findhorn of seeing life as the classroom, and the conditions and aspects of our lives as teachers.
This programme offers an introduction to that perspective, exploring how our lives themselves can become the curriculum. A unique journey for each one of us.
What Following your Calling offers
As the week unfolds, you are invited into the rhythms of community life. Through shared meals, reflective practices, group activities, nature connection, moments of silence and time together, we explore
Listening for the deeper movements of life within us
Recognising patterns and invitations that shape our path
Understanding life experiences as part of a larger learning journey
Exploring how purpose unfolds through inner and outer relationships, service and creativity
Learning to listen to and trust our inner guidance
The programme includes experiential sessions, reflective practices, time in nature and shared community activities. It also includes sessions playing The Transformation Game®, an insightful way of exploring a purpose and life direction through the physical, emotional mental and spiritual dimensions.
The Park Ecovillage, Findhorn
Following Your Calling takes place within the unique setting of the Park Ecovillage Findhorn, a community with a long history of exploring spiritual practice, conscious relationship and co-creation with the sacred.
The Park offers a unique combination of natural beauty and simplicity. Surrounded by dunes, forest paths, the beach and bay, and the wide skies of the Moray Firth, it provides a supportive environment to slow down, reconnect and listen more closely, both inwardly and outwardly.
Accommodation
You will stay in simple, comfortable accommodation within or close to the Park Ecovillage. Rooms are shared, supporting the sense of togetherness and community life that is central to the experience.
Meals
Meals are an integral part of the journey.
We share nourishing, vegetarian meals prepared with care, using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients where possible. Eating together is treated as a practice in itself: a moment to arrive, connect and experience community through sharing a meal.
Most dietary requirements can be accommodated; please let us know in advance.
Who this week is for
There are many different reasons for joining Following Your Calling:
To sense the directions seeking to emerge in your life
To explore listening more deeply to your inner guidance
To practice approaching the conditions of your life as purposeful and meaningful
To reflect on a current transition point
To explore purpose in a supportive community environment
To find out more about the Findhorn-inspired approach to personal and spiritual development
No prior experience with spiritual practice or personal development work is required. What matters most is curiosity, openness and a willingness to explore.
What you take home
The experience you take home will be uniquely your own.
You may leave with a renewed sense of clarity, a deeper connection with and trust in your inner guidance, and a recognition that life itself can be a field of learning and discovery, uniquely configured to you.
Insights may arise quietly, through conversation, shared experience, time in nature or moments of stillness. Playing the Transformation Game® is a powerful tool for feedback and deep reflection that continues to unfold long after the playing experience itself.
Following Your Calling offers a space to pause, listen and engage with the inner patterning and deeper currents enforming your life.
Sometimes the calling we seek to name and know is already present, quietly waiting to be heard when we pause within a supportive environment.

Schedule
The week centers around the three core practices developed over 60 years in our community, and how to apply them in your own life:
Deep inner listening to the wisdom you have within you – recognising, accessing and working with your own inner knowing.
Learning how to connect and co-create with the intelligence of nature.
Practising how to put love into all that you do, making every activity an expression of your love, or seeing ‘work’ as love in action.
You will explore:
• A variety of practises that help you recognise your connection to the sacred, and support you to stay in loving relationship with yourself and all beings.
• Insight into your next steps, and what can support you as you move forward in your life.
• Time to learn or deepen your meditation practice.
• Learn more about our community, our rhythms and practises.
Woven throughout the week is a second, more personal dimension to the learning.
