Bufo Preparation Session

After struggling with depression for years I found out about plant medicines and reached out to several different retreat centers but Miryana with Corason was by far the most helpful and knowledgeable. I was a bit skeptical and nervous, but Miryana explained each plant medicine thoroughly, what they are, the ceremony process, and the help they provide throughout the journey. Plant medicines might not be the traditional route but sometimes we need to get out of our comfort zone and try new things. My depression isn’t completely gone but my journeys with the plant medicines were incredibly beautiful, and indescribable; I was able to feel true happiness, pure love, and tranquility during my journeys. So it's given me hope to know I am able to feel those emotions and ignited a profound sense of self-discovery and inner healing.

I attended a 4 Day Aya/Psilocybin/San Pedro/Bufo retreat in late August 2023. Being a married, father of 3 and having never used any of these plant medicines before, I was a bit nervous going into it. Thankfully, it didn't take long for those nerves to melt away. From the moment I stepped foot into Corason, Miryana and her marvelous crew swooped in with joyful, smiling faces and gracious, open arms– making me instantly feel welcomed and right at home. There's so much to share about those 4 incredible days– the journeys, the sharing, the insights, the kinship. Suffice it to say, they were some of the most significant and impactful of my adult life. I cannot recommend Corason enough. It will no doubt change your life.

This was one of the most profound experiences of my life. If you are on this path to healing and considering natural medicine you will be happy you did. You will find what you are looking for. Your answers will feel answered. I feel like my life has a clear direction and focus. I could say a lot more. This is something you would have to experience for yourself as words may not do justice to it.

Corason retreat's program was very well organized. Our host and guru Miryana made sure all our needs were attended to. The ceremonies were planned keeping ample time for both the body and mind to adapt. If you have not done these before, I highly recommend doing it once at least and at Corason. I had never been to a retreat before and I was a bit apprehensive as there was no information about the shamans or their experience provided. After meeting with Michael and Miryana, their professionalism, articulate nature, and deep knowledge coupled with their authentic kindness, care, and personal interest in each participant assured me I was in excellent hands. I was especially impressed with the preparation 2 weeks in advance. Michael's previous background allows him to offer his understanding of allopathic medicine and interactions with the various plant medicines. There was ample water, tea, fruit, and soup available during the retreat. The retreat center itself is well appointed, lovely, and within walking distance of the town. The plant medicine experience itself was, for me, profound and exceptional. Every step of the journey was explained in great detail, all questions were answered, and a debriefing was performed each time. The closing day remarks are still resounding in my head as I have re-entered the "wild" of life. Both shamans are available after the retreat indefinitely. I feel very well supported. I would definitely recommend or attend again.
