About this Retreat
Nancy Y. Sheridan is a member of the Congregational Leadership Team of the Sisters of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin, an international group of women religious. She is a spiritual director and supervisor of spiritual directors having spent eight years on the staff of the Center for Religious Development in Cambridge. She has been a staff member at Eastern Point Jesuit Retreat House where she directed eight and thirty-day retreats and reinvigorated the weekend and Triduum ministries there. Presently she is a supervisor to a group of Jewish spiritual directors in training and is also involved in a national ministry of Preaching the Just Word in conjunction with the Woodstock Theological Center at Georgetown. Nancy has extensive national and international experience with Ignatian spirituality both within the Roman Catholic tradition and ecumenically.

Embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery and spiritual growth during our immersive silent-directed retreat, where you will have the opportunity to explore the guiding presence of the Spirit in a deeply enriching environment.
During a silent-directed retreat, each participant meets daily with an experienced spiritual director who serves as a spiritual companion throughout the retreat. Utilizing their specialized training, conversations with your spiritual director will enhance your prayer experience and help you discern where the Spirit might be leading you. Aside from these daily conversations, you can set aside the time for your own personal prayer, journaling, art, exploration of the grounds at Genesis, spiritual reading, or your choice of contemplative practices. Your retreat is unstructured so you can take the opportunity for rest or reflection throughout our grounds and facility.
