About this Retreat
Abuelo Reinerio Queta is a respected elder and beloved Major of the Cofan people.
From a young age, he was immersed in the wisdom of Ayahuasca, learning directly from his ancestral lineage. Committed to preserving and continuing this sacred tradition, he chose to live in the mountains of the jungle, where he welcomes seekers from around the world.
In his sacred space, the presence of Abuelo Rei brings healing, cleansing, and deep joy. He is a man who has not only mastered the medicine but also understood the essence of life itself.
His son, Taita Bernardo Queta, along with his grandchildren and dedicated students, actively supports the ceremonies, cares for the space, and ensures that every participant is guided and protected throughout their journey.
Hello, my name is Angela, and I am an assistant to Taita Bernardo Queta, a psychologist, musician, and healer. My role in the ceremonies is to hold space, provide support, and guide the energy through music, presence, and deep listening.
With my drum and voice, I accompany the ceremonies, singing medicine songs that help open the heart and deepen the connection with Ayahuasca. The rhythms and chants are not just music—they are a tool for healing, a bridge between the physical and spiritual worlds.
As a psychologist, I offer support to women throughout their healing process, both during and after the ceremonies. I understand that Ayahuasca can awaken deep emotions and memories, and my role is to help integrate those experiences in a way that brings clarity and empowerment.
I am here to listen, guide, and walk alongside you as you navigate your personal journey. Whether through music, words, or silent presence, my intention is to provide a safe and supportive space for you to embrace the transformation that Ayahuasca offers.

Hello, my name is Jairo, and I am a spiritual coach, musician, and facilitator of healing processes. Over the years, I have had the privilege of supporting hundreds of people from all over the world in their healing through medicine music, guidance, and integration work. My understanding of English allows me to assist international participants, ensuring that language is never a barrier in this profound experience.
Music is a fundamental part of my role in the ceremonies. Through medicine songs, rhythms, and chants, I contribute to creating a space of connection and healing, working in coordination with Taita Reinerio Queta. Music is not just sound—it is a guide that accompanies each participant through their journey, helping them navigate the experience with greater depth and ease.
Beyond the ceremonies, I also support the integration process, offering group sessions, personal coaching, and spiritual counseling to help each person process their experience and apply their insights to daily life.
I am also the creator of "Camino del Guerrero", a program designed to support personal and spiritual growth. It integrates psychological knowledge, deep subconscious work, and spiritual exploration, specifically focused on the path of Ayahuasca and the ancestral wisdom of the Cofan people.
Throughout this journey, I am always accompanied by my wife, Ángela, who plays a fundamental role in the ceremonies. Together, we ensure that every participant feels supported, safe, and guided, both during the experience and in the integration process afterward.
However, I am not the one who heals—that role belongs to Ayahuasca and the wisdom of the Taitas Cofanes. My role is to walk alongside you, offering support and guidance as you go through your own process of transformation.
Every ceremony is a new opportunity to learn, grow, and serve those who seek healing. I carry out this work with deep respect and commitment, always honoring the medicine and the traditions that sustain it.
I am Diana, a proud Cofan woman, healer, and artisan, dedicated to preserving the ancestral traditions of my people. For many years, I have walked the path of Ayahuasca, learning its wisdom and deepening my connection with the medicine.
My role in the ceremonies is to support, cleanse, and guide. I perform tobacco cleansings and prosperity baths, powerful rituals that help clear negative energies, open paths, and bring balance to the body and spirit.
As a strong and dedicated woman, I am here to accompany and support other women in their healing journeys. Ayahuasca can reveal deep emotions, wounds, and truths—my role is to hold space, offer guidance, and ensure that every woman feels safe and empowered throughout her process.
Beyond the ceremonies, I also create handmade Cofan crafts, each infused with the energy and wisdom of my ancestors. These pieces carry the spirit of the jungle and the traditions that have been passed down for generations.
