Details of this retreat

We welcome David Cho of San Francisco as our Guest Teacher for a weekend of grounding, relaxation, and community.

As we transition from Summer to Fall, we might feel the need to transform and start anew, ready for new ventures or fresh routines. We gather together at this retreat at the Equinox to reflect on our efforts and notice what is ready to harvest. We will focus our yoga practice on nurturing the body and mind after the hot months, cooling our body, mind and spirit to welcome the wonders of Autumn.
Relax and recharge practicing Yoga and Meditation in a serene natural setting with like-minded friends. This retreat is suitable for all levels of practitioners. There will be plenty of free time to relax, read a book, go on a hike, meditate, and deepen relationships with yourself and others!

A testimonial from a past guest:
"David was outstanding! He was very accommodating and tailored the sessions to suit various levels."

Wonderful retreat!
Loved the cottage on my 6 day Solo retreat. Staff was helpful and friendly, while giving me plenty of space to just “be.” The price is steep, but I found it to be worthwhile as a “splurge,” though won’t be able to do this as often as I’d prefer (might go to Vajrapani next time because of my budget!).

Plan on bringing your own soup or pantry provisions because dinners aren’t served everyday (unless there’s another retreat happening). However, one can easily heat things up with a microwave in the cottage, and store some things in the mini fridge as well.

The food that IS served, is top notch, vegetarian, fresh, and nutritious! I appreciated the accommodation of my gluten free diet as well. The staff was excellent and attentive to my needs, and truly nurtured me.

I had SUCH a nourishing time, being amidst the redwoods, with little distractions. The cottage environment is GORGEOUS, luxurious, and really allowed me to drop in, almost immediately.

Highly recommend!!! Read More

Balance yoga retreat April 2025
Just finished a very healing ,balancing and nourishing weekend at Ratna Ling Tibetan Center.
The location is ideal for unwinding and basking in the beauty and quiet.
Food was plentiful and delicious.... fresh veggies and fruit, fresh baked bread fantastic vegetarian main dishes.
Yoga was held in a beautiful studio with views of the forest from the deck outside mats and props supplied.
Instruction was with Dana Hancock from Sebastopol a very experienced and skillful teacher. The classes were 1-2 hours and left me feeling very grounded and refreshed.
During the free time I spent either meditating or walking the beautiful property that is surrounded by forest and redwood trees and a very sacred and peaceful meditation garden.
The cabins are spacious and well appointed very cozy and perfect for two people to share.Highly recommend Ratna ling!!
