About this Retreat
Martin Scott is a San Francisco-based vinyasa yoga teacher. He began his practice in 1999 and has been teaching since 2008, bringing over 25 years of yoga experience to share with his students. Martin teaches every class based on love, compassion, joy & equanimity, as per verse 1.33 of the Yoga Sutra. His classes are focused, fun and creative. He believes that no matter how challenging the practice may be, it only makes us better. He shows up as himself in every piece of his teaching and is traditionally non-traditional. Martin’s classes are joyful, purposeful and intentional and he believes in the transformative powers of regular practice as a one-way ticket to freedom and happiness. He loves to laugh and play while still maintaining drishti, and believes yoga, above all, makes us happy.

Take a spring break with Martin Scott!
As we welcome the Springtime, we offer this weekend retreat as an opportunity to cultivate brightness through yoga, pranayama and meditation. We spend so much time expending our energy out into the world, and yoga allows us a chance to nourish ourselves - body, mind and soul.
Nestled in the serene beauty of the Sonoma coast, this 3-day spring yoga retreat offers an immersive escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Surrounded by nature’s pristine landscapes, you’ll find tranquility, quiet, and rejuvenation.
The weekend will include morning pranayama and meditations, asana classes and two yoga nidra sessions, all designed to ignite your light and creativity. We’ll embrace the elements of spring, using a combination of breathwork and movement to channel energy, create heat, and explore yoga. We’ll also explore the deep relaxation of yoga nidra and guided meditation. This weekend focuses on your connection to yourself, releasing deep-set tension and cultivating inner peace amidst the quiet stillness of Ratna Ling.
