About this Retreat
Jane is a psychologist, psychotherapist, facilitator, NLP practitioner and coach, with a corporate background in publishing and pharmaceuticals. She has worked extensively both clinically and corporately over many years to help individuals and teams thrive.
Trained as a psychotherapist and psychologist, she holds an MSc (Dist) in Organisational Development – Leading and Facilitating Change in a Volatile World, this included coaching and a dissertation focussed on vertical development in individuals, where she researched and gained valuable insight into post-conventional development and how individuals can become the leaders we need in this world today.
Jane works deeply and holistically with clients – bringing in her role as a qualified breathwork practitioner and in nature-connectedness to support clients to harness their natural and internal resources - physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual.
Lucy is a UKCP registered psychotherapist, coach and facilitator with over 20 years learning and development experience and 2,500 coaching and therapy hours. Her passion for helping people optimise their performance started as a college lecturer, before moving to the pharmaceutical industry where Lucy held various leadership roles across learning & development and sales, working with one of the world’s best-selling drugs.
Lucy’s uses her training and experience to work with the human psyche clinically and corporately to support the change the client desires. More recently she has expanded her practice obtaining a diploma in energy psychotherapy. This specialism focuses on the body’s nervous system to work deeply to mitigate the impact of our internal processes on performance that can be used one to one and between the work.
Lucy runs a successful private practice alongside her corporate work and uses energy and body work combined with more traditional frames of working.
Details of this retreat
The Woven Leader is a transformational two-month hybrid leader development programme with a difference.
Where most leadership and coaching programmes focus primarily on providing you with the tools and strategies to manage business related situations, The Woven Leader focusses on developing deep understanding within you as a leader – weaving both performance and wellbeing perspectives for sustainable outcomes.
The result? You will see clearly how you operate in the world, know how you can make the most impact and have the tools, strategies and support to do something about it.
Each programme is run separately for men and women to make it bespoke to the needs of the group and to create psychological safety.
The Woven Leader flagship programme delivers leaders who;
• Weave wellbeing and performance with ease
• Have a high self-awareness – they know themselves well and are aware of how old patterns and defences impact their lives
• Have the tools and inner resources to manage themselves across many situations
• Connect intentionally with others
• Have a purpose and passion which is clear to see
• Exude a grounded resilience and robustness
• Are curious and enquiring and share knowledge generously
• Communicate clearly, calmly and with kindness
• Create measurable differences in the way they lead that benefits them, their team, and the business
• Are powerfully in balance.
By the end of the programme you will....
- Recognise why you respond to situations in a certain way (your internal barriers) and learn how to interrupt your habitual responses
- Have space and a calm mind, be able to think and reflect on what is important to you and the business, identify where to place your energy and how to take steps forward
- Unpick your unique challenges and perspectives and use tools and expertise shared see how to work with them
- Recognise how to manage your stress levels whenever you need to and how to keep your internal system in balance for clearer decision making, creating space between stimulus and response
- Identify and harness your inner resources so that you lead authentically with a grounded resilience and robustness
- Use coaching strategies to support you beyond the residential and to integrate the learnings and put them into practice
- Leave feeling clear about your potential, the impact you want to make in the organisation and be supported in taking steps to achieve it
- Beyond the programme end, be able to access an online community that has shared a powerful experience and knows each other and each other’s journey well, as well as continued resources
The programme itself has three main strands:
1) Coaching: Individual coaching, analysis and online support before and after the residential to help individuals observe, reflect and grow awareness.
2) Three-day residential: In a rural Cotswolds house where we provide the setting and support for a critical step back, working closely with individuals to help them build a strong internal framework - a grounded robustness that underpins everything they do.
3) Community: Supported integration of the learning within a vibrant community to grow networks and support individuals to sustain and embed change in the real world.
This programme benefits:
1) High performers at the risk of burnout
2) Those who are aspiring to the next level in their career
3) High potential employees
4) Those seeking outplacement support
5) Business owners and entrepreneurs
This is what one of our 2023 participants told us about the programme:
“This is work like no other, and we are asked to look at the whole of ourselves in order for us to transform. At every point I always felt safe and easy with the group and Jane and Lucy’s ability to create a light space which is both deep and supportive is a special mix.”
