A Sangha-Led Commitment to Practice
For more than ten years, our sangha has begun the year with a shared commitment: one hundred days of ngöndro practice, grounded in lineage, guided by continuity, and supported by community.
This year, we are deepening that commitment by placing the emphasis where it belongs. On supporting one another in actual practice.
The purpose of this intensive is simple and demanding. To establish steady, daily engagement with the foundational practices of the path, and to do so together, with clarity, accountability, and care.
Alongside daily practice, we will study selected sections of The Words of My Perfect Teacher by Patrul Rinpoche. Our focus will be practical and experiential: how to do the practices correctly, why these practices matter, and how they function as the ground for the Vajrayana path as it has been presented by Rinpoche. Questions are welcome and expected. This is a living inquiry, not a passive study.
This intensive is for practitioners who are committed to practicing the path as it has been transmitted by Rinpoche. It is equally open to newer students who are ready to begin a genuine path with guidance and structure, and to experienced practitioners who are actively practicing and willing to contribute their insight and presence.
Participants commit to daily practice at home, at their own pace, within the shared container of the sangha. We will gather weekly on Sundays at 6pm CT via Zoom for group practice, discussion, reflection, and senior-student–led Dharma talks. These sessions are designed to support continuity, address obstacles as they arise, and keep the practice grounded and alive.
This is a practice-first intensive. The aim is not accumulation for its own sake, but the gradual gathering of merit and wisdom through consistency, sincerity, and shared effort.
If you are ready to begin the year by placing practice at the center of your life, we invite you to join us.
REQUIRED MATERIALS
Younge Ngondro text (transmission to be given on December 31 to new students before start of intensive)
