Details of this retreat

Rinpoche will offer a summary course bringing together the key teachings from this spring’s courses on Lorig and Understanding Mind and Experience.
We will review how the mind knows, how mistaken and valid cognition arise, and how mind and mental factors come together to shape each moment of experience. Rinpoche will clarify the main principles from both courses and help students connect them directly to meditation and daily life.
This course will give returning students an opportunity to consolidate what they have learned, resolve questions, and see how the different aspects of Lorig fit together as a practical system. It will also offer newer students an accessible introduction to the Buddhist study of mind and cognition.
By understanding how experience is formed, we become better able to recognize confusion as it arises and to cultivate the clarity, stability, and insight that support the path of liberation.
