About this Retreat
Of French and Peruvian origin, Manuela is dedicated to integrative practices that support deep transformation. Dividing her time between Europe and Costa Rica, she hosts holistic retreats where she offers multidimensional bodywork, sound healing, and yoga, weaving ancient wisdom with contemporary modalities.
She works through energetically attuned touch, immersive sound, and mindful movement to invite release and reconnection.
With reverence and care, Manuela integrates plant medicines as part of the sacred spaces she creates for self-exploration, inner harmony, and spiritual growth.
She is devoted to holding space with compassion, guiding others to reconnect with their true essence and awaken their full potential.
Originally from Italy, Enrico has over 18 years of experience working with plants medicines. After a deep apprenticeship with Shipibo shamans in Peru, he continued guiding ceremonies with Syrian Rue, mushrooms, Changa, Kambo, San Pedro, Bufo, and Ayahuasca across Latin America and Europe. He now lives near Pucallpa, Peru, where he and his partner Marjie run a small shamanic center offering traditional ceremonies and plant dietas.
Marjie is a trauma-informed facilitator and somatic integration coach. She has worked with psychedelics for 14 years and trained extensively in Amazonian medicine traditions. Her approach blends shamanism, somatic therapy, and non-dual teachings to help others build inner resources and a grounded relationship with plant medicines.
Details of this retreat
Join us in the quiet landscapes of Andalusia for an intimate and immersive experience guided by powerful ancestral medicines and rooted in traditional shamanic practice.
Together, we’ll move through a carefully held process of sacred plant ceremonies, somatic practices, sound healing, integration and regeneration, in a place that naturally invites presence.
Within a shared community and a safe container, this retreat offers meaningful opportunities for deep release, insight, and inner shifts.
Sacred Medicines you'll be journeying with:
*PSILOCYBIN MUSHROOMS: a sacred psychedelic with deep therapeutic potential, psilocybin mushrooms can help release stored emotions, shift mental patterns, and bring a greater understanding of oneself. Combined with Syrian Rue, the effects are amplified and extended, allowing for a profound and sustained inner journey.
*SYRIAN RUE: known as the “Ayahuasca of the East,” this powerful teacher plant lies at the heart of the retreats. It supports introspection, clarity, and a return to inner truth, while amplifying and structuring the effects of the other sacred medicines. Taken in ceremony, it helps open and sustain a deep and coherent inner process.
*CHANGA: a blend of Amazonian medicinal herbs infused with psychoactive compounds similar to those found in Ayahuasca. Smoked in ceremony, it offers a gentle yet powerful entry into visionary realms. Allowing for gradual dosing, it serves as a bridge into expanded states of consciousness supporting and amplifying the effects of the other medicines.
*KAMBO: A traditional Amazonian frog secretion used for purification and renewal. Applied to small points on the skin, it activates a deep detox — physical, energetic, and emotional — leaving a sense of clarity, vitality, and strength.
*SAN PEDRO (HUACHUMA): A heart-opening cactus medicine from the Andes, traditionally used for reflection and integration. Grounding and clarifying, it offers a sense of unity with nature and helps weave the week’s experiences into your life’s path.
The ceremonies:
-Kambo (Day 2 – Morning + optional extra session on day 5)
An Amazonian purification ritual using the secretion of a frog, applied to small points on the skin through light surface burns.
Participants drink a large quantity of water before and during the ceremony, which is then released through purging. This process initiates a deep detoxification on physical, emotional, and energetic levels.
Though intense, the experience is short and often followed by renewed strength and a sense of reset.
-Anahuasca ceremony (Day 2 – evening)
A potent synergy of Syrian Rue and Changa, this ceremony offers an experience similar in depth and vision to Ayahuasca, without the intense purging often associated with it. This combination supports deep inner exploration and a powerful shift in consciousness, inviting insight and emotional release. Guided by the intelligence of Syrian Rue and the visionary quality of Changa, the journey helps clarify intentions and prepare the ground for the deeper work to come. At the beginning of the ceremony, rapé and sananga are offered to those who wish, to support focus and presence.
-Psilohuasca Ceremony (Days 3 & 5 – evening)
Psilohuasca is the core ceremony of the retreat: the sacred combination of Syrian Rue and psilocybin mushrooms, with Changa to bring a visionary dimension.
Syrian Rue is taken first to activate and prolong the effects of the other medicines. Mushrooms follow, and Changa may be added, deepening and coloring the journey. The sequence unfolds into a deep, long-lasting experience often compared to Ayahuasca, yet with its own unique intelligence. Rather than working through purging, it opens the psyche, dissolving mental barriers and allowing emotions, memories, and insights to surface, often bringing a deep sense of clarity and inner release.
-Closing ceremony with San Pedro / Huachuma (Day 7 – Daytime)
Served as a traditional brew, this cactus medicine is known for its gentle yet profound effects. It brings warmth, vision, and humility, helping to open the heart and bring clarity to the path ahead. Especially supportive for integration, it offers a space for reflection on the journey, and begins to anchor the transformation into daily life, often accompanied by a sense of joy, reverence, and renewed connection.
This retreat is designed to offer a deep and respectful encounter with sacred plant medicines, rooted in traditional shamanic practice and supported by a serious framework of preparation and integration.
Miracle Retreats honors the living lineage of these traditions by collaborating with a healer coming from Peru, ensuring an approach that is both authentic and grounded. To preserve the quality of guidance and the individual attention each participant receives, the group is limited to a maximum of 12 people.
Throughout the retreat, you will be accompanied not only during the ceremonies, but also through daily integration and sharing circles, as well as individual conversations, so that each experience can be welcomed and integrated in a safe and supportive way.
The retreat also offers a true digital detox. Participants are invited to step away from phones and screens and to fully immerse themselves in the rhythm of the retreat, the group, and the surrounding environment. This creates a rare space of presence, simplicity, and real connection.
-Sound journeys and holistic massages
The retreat program includes sound journeys, holistic massage, and energy sessions to support balance, grounding, and nervous system regulation. Yin yoga and sound journeys are offered before ceremonies to help settle the body and mind and prepare for the experience.
In addition, individual somatic integration sessions are available for those who wish for more personalized support during the retreat.
-Flower baths
"Baños de flores" are an ancestral cleansing ritual used to prepare for ceremony, helping to clear heavy energies and enter the ceremonial space with greater openness and clarity.
-Breathwork and yoga
Yoga, meditation, and breathwork sessions are offered throughout the retreat, with simple and practical techniques that can be used both in daily life and during the ceremonies to support the journey.
-Why a one-week program
A one-week retreat offers an ideal balance between depth, safety, and integration. It allows time for preparation, multiple ceremonies, and the gradual assimilation of what is experienced.
This format is suitable both for people new to plant medicine and for those who already have experience and wish to go deeper in a well-supported setting.
The slower rhythm and extended time together create the conditions for meaningful insights, real integration, and a genuine connection with the group and the place.
-Health conditions
These ceremonies can have strong physical, emotional, and psychological effects. For this reason, participation is not recommended for everyone. If you have a medical or psychiatric condition, or if you are taking prescription medication, it is essential to inform us before registering so we can assess together whether this retreat is appropriate for you.
