Her passion was crafting unique experiences that made others feel the importance of wellness. In one way or another, she had been preparing for this her entire life. She had changed careers and interests a few times. She loved everything from her past, but not one thing would fully satisfy her. She went to art school, later trained and worked as a sommelier, and after some incredible twists and swirls, she made it into the movie industry designing movie sets. This led her to restaurant design and eventually to her first hotel.

She saw how everything she had explored and done in her life was a key element in what she did then. She was finally and completely fulfilled by what she did: she created experiences to remind and connect others with the inherent joy in everyday living.

When she started her journey with Ayurveda, she had no idea what life had in store for her. As she deepened into Ayurveda practices, she had a constant feeling of remembering. The body and soul remembered their natural state of ease and flow. Through Ayurveda, she discovered that finding joy and harmony in the modern existence was a lot easier than she thought. She simply had to go back to basics. Ayurveda and its yoga practices were one with nature and its natural processes and cycles.

One of her biggest joys was sharing her yoga practice with others. For her, yoga was the practice of connecting with the body, and from that deep connection, she could further connect to her spirituality. Yoga was a tool of embodiment, a space to integrate life and all its experiences, the beauty and sorrow, and all the ups as well as downs. It was an honor for her to guide others into this practice, into inhabiting their bodies with intention and awareness.

Kano Mai

Professional musician + Transformational coach + Shamanic practitioner + Men’s work facilitator

Kano is a professional musician, a transformational coach, a shamanic practitioner and a mens' work facilitator. He has many musical endeavors under his belt and began a massive life transition through addiction recovery. Kano has studied extensively in the Amazon jungles of Peru with Indigenous healers, learning and teaching the ancient ways of sacred ceremonial work, as well as developing healing music inspired by different tribes and traditions. He has passion not only for his own personal growth but also helping others achieve their true potential, guiding those who are ready to a deeper connection with their authentic selves. "Choosing to walk the healing path is hard to do, maybe the hardest to do. For me, it started after bottoming out with drugs and alcohol addiction. Through years of rehab in western institutions and with the help of ancient traditions, I healed my pain and found my life mission to help others heal theirs. Sometimes the road can get very dark, I’ve learned that drawing on our friends, teachers and spirit allies is how we come through it and find the light. My mission is to serve humanity’s spiritual evolution through coaching, embodiment, ceremony and music."

Lindsay Calloway

Ayurvedic Consultant & Panchakarma Facilitator

Lindsay Calloway is a certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor, Herbalist, and Visual Artist with a BFA in Painting, Drawing, and Printmaking.

The beautiful blend of nature, science, and mind-body practices that combines together as the ancient healing system of Ayurveda is what initially drew Lindsay in. She has enthusiastically been a student of Ayurveda since 2019 and hands-on practicing Panchakarma facilitator. She develops customized and unique treatment plans tailored to each individual's constitution with complete awareness, care and attention to create balance. She is continually inspired by the transformations she witnesses on a consistent basis thanks to the healing powers of Ayurveda.

Lindsay has a strong passion for healing with plants, herbs, and flowers while also guiding others to connect with them on their own unique healing journeys. Her specialties include creating herbal medicines, teas, customized tonics, and herbal baths.

Details of this retreat

· PANCHAKARMA + SACRED MEDITATION RETREAT ·
This 10-day retreat will start with a 5-day Ayurvedic detox, called Panchakarma— an Ayurvedic protocol to cleanse and restore one completely to a natural state of balance. The program will help release stored toxins and bring back the body's innate healing ability. This purification process will guide the body in restoring digestive energies, boosting metabolism, and awakening your body’s capacity for renewal and self-regulation. The detox includes herbal medicine, Ayurvedic routines, yoga, delicious and nourishing foods, and daily body therapies— including lymphatic drainage, herbal scrubs, and water dance. You will also be immersed in sacred, shamanic rituals for 2 nights & embodiment practice. You’ll have plenty of free time to enjoy the clear, virgin beaches of Vieques or relax around our pool & grounds.

· PANCHAKARMA DETOX ·
Ayurvedic Detoxes are a complete system tailored to each participant. These are deep purification processes that revitalize your system.
They are perfect for anyone looking to cleanse and restore their body, mind, and spirit to a natural state of balance.
The program will help release stored toxins and bring back the body's innate healing ability. This purification process guides the body in restoring digestive energies, boosting metabolism, and awakening the body’s capacity for renewal and self-regulation. Participants will eat easily digestible foods during the cleanse— so the body can focus on eliminating toxins. Ayurvedic food is nourishing, delicious, and flavorful. It will keep you interested and satiated!
We will also introduce sustainable routines that translate easily into your daily life.

If you cancel 90 days or more prior to the retreat start date, a full refund of the price will be issued *excluding transaction fees*
If you cancel within the 90-day period leading up to the retreat, the entire payment will be charged. However, we do make exceptions to this policy if we are able to fill the spot with another participant.
In certain cases, we may be able to fill your spot with another guest. If we are successful in doing so, we will refund your payment, excluding the transaction fees. Please note that this is subject to availability, and we cannot guarantee that we will be able to fill your spot.

Vieques can be reached by flight (airport code VQS) or ferry .
Flights
*Recommended* SJU-->VQS. The short flight to Vieques (VQS) from San Juan's primary airport (International Airport Luis Muñoz Marín ( SJU) is brief and the views are stunning!

Flight from Isla Grande Airport (SIG) located in San Juan (a 10 minute drive from SJU Airport) to VQS.
Ceiba Airport (an hour drive from SJU) to VQS.

Ferry

-The ferry port Ceiba is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes from SJU Airport and can be reached via Uber.

· Ground transportation from VQS Airport or ferry port will be provided on the first and last day of the retreat ·

Directions

To reach Vieques, we encourage you to take a flight to the island. The flights are short, and the views are stunning.

FLIGHTS:

If you are coming directly to Vieques from your original destination, you may take a connecting flight from the international airport— Luis Muñoz Marín (SJU) with the airline, Cape Air.

If you are already in San Juan, you can fly out from the smaller airport in San Juan, Isla Grande Airport (SIG). The check-in process is simpler and requires less wait time as it is a local flight of 30 minutes with the airline, Vieques Air Link.

There is another small airport in Ceiba, Jose Aponte de La Torre Airport (RVR), with daily flights from Vieques Air Link as well.

All flights to Vieques arrive at the Antonio Rivera Rodriguez Airport (VQS).

If you are flying in between the islands of Culebra and Vieques, you can make arrangements with the charter company, Taxi Aereo

FERRIES:

The ferry terminal is located in the town of Ceiba— about 1:20 minutes from the capital of San Juan. You can take the passenger ferry or the cargo ferry. The passenger ferry is faster with an approximate travel time of 30-40 minutes depending on the currents. The cargo ferry is 45-60 minutes. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time by visiting puertoricoferry.com.

An Uber ride should be about $80 from San Juan to Ceiba.

Insider tip: 20% of the tickets are available on the website 3-4 weeks prior to the departure date. You can reserve them ahead of time, or purchase the tickets on-site at the ferry port.

We offer pick-up and drop-off to the Vieques airport and ferry dock.

Baez Haus Treehouse (Deluxe Shared Room)

This deluxe shared unit reserves you a spot in a 3-story treehouse. You will have a private bedroom, half bathroom & balcony. You will only be sharing the outdoor shower & kitchenette area. Sleeping in a Queen Bed. This three story treehouse will leave you in awe! Located at the highest point on our property, the bedroom features killer views of the ocean and grounds. Please Note: If you're averse to stairs, this might not be the treehouse for you- let us know and we'll be happy to find you your perfect spot!

Tiny Treehouse (Private Room - Queen Bed)

This private units includes 1 Queen bed, 1 half bathroom, an outdoor shower, terrace and kitchen. This is perfect for a solo participant wanting full privacy or a couple or friends wanting to share the bed. This tucked-away, two story treehouse is as cute as can be. On the first floor, you’ll find a comfortable half bathroom and sitting area. Climb up the industrial staircase to the bedroom and you’ll find a queen-sized bed and floor-to-ceiling glass doors— ready to be opened so you can enjoy the cool Caribbean breeze and ocean views. Dorm Room (3 Twin Beds)

This dorm-style unit reserves you 1 spot in a shared bedroom with 3 twin beds, with a bathroom, kitchenette and double outdoor shower. Traveling solo, but looking to make friends? Plenty of common areas to share with the other guests, while also having your own bed. You'll find this room filled with your future friends to be spacious and comfortable as it comes equipped with a kitchenette and hammock to lounge.

Dorm Room (4 Twin Beds)

This dorm-style unit reserves you 1 spot in a shared bedroom with 4 twin beds, with a bathroom and outdoor shower. Traveling solo, but looking to make friends? Plenty of common areas to share with the other guests, while also having your own bed. You'll find this room filled with your future friends yet still spacious, even comes with a fully equipped outdoor kitchen.

Oceanview Casona (Shared Room - King Bed)

This shared unit reserves you 1 spot in a semi private King bedroom, shared outdoor shower, bathroom, and kitchenette. This house has two floors, you will be sleeping in the upstairs while another participant will sleep at the bottom floor. They will only go upstairs to use the outdoor shower. Your upstairs bedroom has a balcony with ocean & garden views. Oceanview Casona (Shared Room - Queen Sofa Bed)

This shared reserves you 1 spot in a shared bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and outdoor shower. This shared unit reserves you 1 spot in a queen sofa bed, shared outdoor shower, bathroom, and kitchenette. This house has two floors, you will be sleeping in the first floor while another participant will sleep at the top floor. Please Note: If you're averse to stairs, this might not be the house for you- let us know and we'll be happy to find you your perfect spot! This downstairs bedroom was built in a greenhouse-style room featuring a queen bed from a convertible sofa. It includes a stunning marble wash area. One of our favorite areas is the outdoor shower at the top floor where you can enjoy a relaxing time amidst the beauties of nature. Invisible Treehouse (Shared Room - Loft Queen Bed)

This shared unit reserves 1 spot for the upstairs loft that includes a Queen bed & balcony. You will only share the 1st floor space, bathroom, outdoor shower & outdoor kitchenette. This Invisible Treehouse was designed as an open tropical loft. On the first level you have a spacious living room with a pull-out sofa, an indoor bathroom, vanity, and a gateway to an outdoor shower surrounded by lush greenery. The second story features your selected bedroom including a queen-sized bed and hidden balcony. The outdoor terrace has a spacious deck, dining table, and fully equipped kitchen. Meeshel's Cabin (Shared Room - Full Sofa Bed)

This shared unit reserves 1 full size sofa bed in the first floor with a shared bathroom and kitchen. Nestled under a mango tree, this large two story unit has 2 floors, a private bedroom at the 2nd floor & a shared space in the first floor. Your bed is located here. You will share the bathroom & vanity with one person, and outdoor kitchen is also shared with the neighboring unit (shared between 4 guests in total). This beautiful cabin is a great option for an individual who wants to share some space and socialize, while also having the peace and comfort of separated sleeping quarters. This private unit includes 1 King bed, 1 bathroom, an outdoor terrace and kitchen.This is perfect for any private individual or one looking to bring a friend/partner and is comfortable sharing a bed. Inspired by the essence of a wooden treehouse, Sahar’s Treehouse is a unique room. It sits elevated at tree-top height, and is surrounded by trees and a small papaya grove. Romantic, cozy, and private, this room is perfect for a couple! This Treehouse also offers a lovely outdoor shower and a spacious floating deck with an outdoor kitchen. Curious to who Sahar is? Before the Airbnb era, Sylvia tested her hospitality by hosting people at her home. Sahar happened to be one her first guests! A Paradise for Healing and Transformation

The Tree house

I’ve been watching La Finca on Instagram for 1.5 years with such curiosity. Are these real photos? Is this a place I can reset? After 54 years of life, I decided I wanted to venture here all alone. No husband, children or friends. But the timing never lined up so I continued to watch from a far. Then suddenly appeared a yoga retreat. As a person who does not participate in yoga practice, I said, I am going. Something intuitively said you got this. As the only novice in the room, I was supported. The program was educational and fulfilling. I learned so much and grew such a respect and passion for yoga. Thank you to our cosmic fascia for holding space for me and weaving me into your community. Your energy and love is implanted into my mitochondria never to be forgotten.
