About this Retreat
As a lifelong storyteller with a background in journalism and communications, Renee’s journey has revolved around authentically connecting with people and teasing out their unique stories using written and spoken words.
Through her own life travels, she made her way from Canadian soil (where she was born and raised by Chinese immigrant parents) to Pacific Coastal Mexico, where she laid down roots and started a family.
Her move to Utah in 2010 was accompanied by massive personal shifts that began a renewed curiosity for personal growth, transformation, and self-inquiry that led to the creation of Wild Women Tribe in 2018.
As the primary space holder for the retreat, Renee curates a container of inclusivity, compassion, abundant love, and nurturing support that allows women to step into discomfort and find lost parts of themselves that have been buried deep within layers of life, busyness, fear, and avoidance.
Tapping into all aspects of words and language, Renee leads NLP-style workshops and guided visualizations that center around connection: to source, to self, and to each other as sisters journeying side by side along a beautiful, unfolding path back home.

Reiki Master and energy practitioner Amanda Murphy will lead us through a crystal bowl soundbath meditation and workshop delving into our unique Human Design types and the auras that we project outward.
Soundbaths utilize the healing vibrations of quartz crystal bowls to deliver a sonic experience that is multi-sensory, and has the ability to shift great emotional blockages and move us into a state of incredible relaxation and receptivity. We’ll have the distinct pleasure of having our soundbath on the earth so it’ll be a very special and extrasensory experience.
Human Design is a blueprint of our own energy and aura that gives us insight into how our energy shows up in the world and for each other. Part of Human Design practice is understanding the limiting beliefs that hold us back. Amanda will teach us about what our individual Human Design auras represents and how we can show up in the biggest energy and activate the inner light within us all according to our natural and inherent gifts. We’ll work on personalized affirmations that tie into the energy of our heartspace.
