About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

Calling adventurous & heart-centered women! What if this is the shift you’ve been searching for? This isn’t just another vacation—it’s a chance to transform your life with real, lasting transformation. Imagine stepping into a 5-day retreat where every moment is designed to unlock your potential and reignite your passion for living your truth.

This new year, the wildness and beauty of Mexico’s southern Pacific Coast usher in winds of change in a four-night / five-day retreat at a private villa nestled in the jungle on the coast of Oaxaca.

Find a soulful connection with like-minded women as we are guided by the earth elements to "REWILD YOUR LIFE!" Together with an intimate container of a dozen soul sisters, we unfold sacred journeys into our own pathways toward transformation in a cultural immersion into Mexico’s spiritual core led by a team of four gifted facilitators.

Wild Women Tribe connects like-minded women to transformational experiences outdoors in nature. In the wild landscape of Oaxaca, we will be journeying through the beaches, ocean, mangroves, and sky to ground back into our inner flame and pour self-love into our human containers.

At Wild Women Tribe, we go deep below the surface. Think powerful workshops, elemental ceremonies, and curated experiences leading to breakthroughs that shatter your limitations—while connecting with a sisterhood of women who are just as committed to growth as you are. This isn’t a quick escape or a girls holiday; it’s a life reset and initiation into the fullest version of you that you’ve been yearning for.

As a co-facilitator of the highest inspiration, Mother Nature invites us to “ReWild” into our truest form, learning tools of release, manifestation, somatic regulation & awareness, conscious communication, and safety, trust, and security in our own lives to rise and return “home” to ourselves.

Our theme “Rewild Your Life!” invites playful exploration of the vibrant culture of Mexico and the sonic landscape – through ecstatic dance and somatic movement set to music and the sound of the waves, vocal toning activations, sound baths – and all the ways we can tap into joy as the highest expression of our abundant and creatrix selves.

Sound & vibration play a pivotal role in this transformational retreat: we will move our bodies in somatic awareness exercises set to music, activate our voices through song and spoken word, heal and integrate with soundbath meditations, and allow Mother Nature’s noises & musicality to weave a tapestry of sonic textures in our retreat journey.

We’re calling in women who are ready to show up fully and make real changes and commit to real growth—no playing small. Feeling the pull? Let’s hop on a discovery call to see if this is your moment to step into the life you’re meant to live. Reach out at connect[at]wildwomentribe[dot]net

Expand your body, mind and spirit through a soul-stretching five days of cultural immersion at this retreat in Mazunte, Oaxaca from January 15 to 19, 2025, which will set you on a path to growth and transformation in the comfort and expansiveness of Mexico’s powerful Pacific Coast.
Start your new year off with renewed intention setting and in the company of a likeminded, curious, and compassionate sisterhood of women like you.
The wildness and beauty of Mexico’s southern Pacific Coast summon you to usher in winds of change in a four-night / five-day retreat at a private home nestled in the jungle on the coast of Oaxaca. Find soulful connection with likeminded women as you are guided by the earth elements to a celebration of yourself.
Together with an intimate container of a dozen soul sisters, you will unfold sacred journeys, into your own pathways toward transformation, in a cultural immersion into the heartland of Mexico’s spiritual core.
Sound and vibration play a pivotal role in this transformational retreat: you will move your body in somatic awareness exercises set to music, activate your voice through song and spoken word, heal and integrate with sound bath meditations, and allow Mother Nature’s noises and musicality to weave a tapestry of sonic textures in your retreat journey.
Nourishing and fresh local cuisine will fuels you as you stretch your body in daily morning yoga, mindful hikes and outdoor explorations, and initiate into meditation, breathwork, vocal activations, and somatic movement embodiment workshops with skilled facilitators who bring their presence and passion to the forefront of the retreat.
You'll also cleanse in a traditional Temazcal sweat lodge, harness your breath to connect with your body, and get back into your body through somatic explorations, dance and movement, and burn your proverbial baggage in ceremonial fire with sacred burn release and cacao ceremonies, and sound bath meditations.
Join in the sisterhood and explore nature’s rhythms south of the border, and your own relationship with her mysterious elements in the magical setting of Mexico’s magical tropical beach landscape.
At the retreat, each day begins with yoga and mindfulness, and the meals follow a plant-forward focus that highlights and pays homage to the seasonal ingredients of the area.
There will also be cultural activities and ecotourism adventures that support the inner explorations of your journey, and participants celebrate achievements and milestones in ceremonies that light up their body, mind, and spirit.
-Equal footing: Facilitators and participants co-create a container where they are all on a transformative journey together, blurring the lines between teachers and students. The group will all benefit from a level playing field of sisterhood that moves through the journey as one.
-Nature as fourth facilitator: As a co-facilitator of the highest inspiration, Mother Nature invites you to “rewild” into your truest form, learning tools of release, manifestation, somatic regulation and awareness, conscious communication, and a safety, trust, and security in your own life to rise and return “home” to yourself.
Workshops will be taken even outside of the four walls of a conference room or yoga studio, into Mother Nature, which creates a powerful grounding container that truly sets the stage for rewilding to your intrinsic nature.
-Workshops include:
*Daily yoga and meditation
Grounding and somatic anchoring practices
Limiting beliefs burn release ceremony
Cacao ceremony, sound bath meditation, and ecstatic dance
Conscious communication partner work
Rewriting self-identity workshops
Sound activations, vocal toning, and vibration workshops
Body consciousness and somatic embodiment explorations
Deconditioning and empowering the body through movement and music
Mindful and intuitive eating workshop
Play and expression improv within the natural elements
-Sound bath meditation: There is no organ system in the body that does not react to sounds, music, and vibrations. A sound bath is an invitation to welcome healing vibrations through the different layers of your body and to let the great power of music restore you.
It allows you to release old or negative energies and stress which are stored inside. You will feel more calm and deeply relaxed, and when this happens, you will tend to heal faster.
-Voice activation: The voice is the internal gateway between mind and body. It is a powerful healing tool that helps you to release tensions. During the voice activation workshop, Flo will guide you to release the fear of judgment and reconnect with the joy of singing in a natural and spontaneous way through different exercises.
There are no right or wrong sounds here. It is about activating your right to be heard, opening up your throat chakra, empowering your unique voice, and also to listen fully to others - a magical moment of co-creating songs among women.
-Conscious communication and writing workshops: As a lifelong storyteller with a background in journalism and communications, Renee’s journey has revolved around authentically connecting with people and teasing out their unique and beautiful stories using written and spoken word.
Tapping into all aspects of words and language, Renee will lead workshops that center around connection: to source, to self, and to each other as sisters journeying side by side along a beautiful, unfolding path back home.
-Through intimate workshops and uplifting shared experiences, you will:
*Boost your confidence by stepping outside of your comfort zone
*Get grounded in nature by unplugging from technology and surrounding yourself in a nurturing environment ideal for transformation
*Connect with your body through yoga, breathwork, and movement workshops
*Learn new skills: how to travel and explore in a foreign country, try new foods and expose yourself to a different culture, learn tools of practice in self-growth modalities, and build tribe with a sisterhood of likeminded women who love the outdoors and travel
*Forge bonds of friendship with other soul sisters surrounded by the peace and power of the Pacific Ocean and a clarifying vision of 2025
%You will return feeling rejuvenated, connected with yourself and other soul sisters, and ready to share your best self with your loved ones. You deserve this time out for yourself.
-This Mexico retreat is for you if you are:
*Experiencing intense emotions and moods, and feel faced with uncertainty, overwhelming feelings, and anxiety
*Curious about cultivating mindful, positive connection with a community around topics that matter in a safe, supported, and non-judgmental virtual setting
*Seeking tools, resources, and tips on how to reclaim some empowerment in your life
*Craving an escape from the day to day monotony, and desire to honor yourself and stoke your personal growth during this difficult time
*Excited to meet other women like you who share an interest in body, mind, and spirit through curated group settings that stretch you in fitness, intention setting, self-examination, and outdoor activity
*Interested, inspired, and intrigued to experience a new type of gathering and form friendships with other women who are seeking positive support and encouragement
-What if you don’t have a buddy to attend the retreat with?
*Rest assured, that is part of the adventure. While some women attend Wild Women Tribe excursions with a friend, the majority are drawn solo to the chance to meet new women who enjoy outdoor pursuits, self-development, and overcoming challenges.
Stepping into unknown territory and newness is part of the magical Wild Women Tribe formula. You will be in great hands and feel accomplished that you conquered your fears in the process! You’ll be pleasantly surprised by how quickly you form bonds of friendship and solidarity with a tribe of newfound, kickass women.
-What if you're drawn to some of the activities, and want to opt out of others?
*None of the activities is mandatory! They are a framework for which you are invited to step in. If you want to opt out of a hike and sit by the river (it’s truly a gorgeous setting with the red rock surrounding the house) or catch some extra sleep instead of sunrise yoga, be their guest.
You do you. You are encouraged and invited to listen to that small, still voice within and honor her wishes and inclinations. There'll be zero judgement, shaming, or expectations. Still, please do tell someone on a hike or excursion if you plan on leaving early or spending some extra time. Safety is crucial so participants are all accounted for.
*Thank you for your interest in joining the four-night / five-day journey inward alongside other women of diverse backgrounds, disciplines, ages and stages in the great outdoor playground of coastal Oaxaca, Mexico.
Wild Women Tribe creates transformational experiences for likeminded women, grounded in nature and the outdoors. They believe wholeheartedly in "rewilding" back to your essential nature in the company of other women who are aligned with similar ideals.
