About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

We offer seven day retreats nestled in a Mediterranean paradise, designed for you to meet your inner most authentic self and take a soul level transformation.
Our Slow Living Retreats provide the tools to unlock our potential and re-connect with our authentic self. When we take the time to pause from our thinking mind, pull off the masks that we wear to let ourselves be seen, be present with how we feel in our bodies, take a long exhale and sit with our truth, we enter Slow Living.
Each retreat has a diverse programme incorporating relaxation, exploration, creativity, transformative experiences in both a 1:1 personal setting and a community environment.

Samudra is located in the middle of the Mediterranean sea on the island of Gozo in the village of Qala. Gozo, which means 'joy', is a little spit of land sitting in the sea with a unique rocky coastal landscape, waters so crystal-clear and the sky so bright blue that you’ll have to rub your eyes to believe what you are seeing. We host you within our 400-year-old farmhouses that sit across the road from one another. Experience authentic Mediterranean living on your retreat with us.

Samudra is a wellness sanctuary creating deep transformational journeys rooted in ancient wisdom and holistic healing practices. By providing a safe space to rest, reflect and nurture ourselves we return to stability, presence and stillness. From this place we can face our deep-rooted anxieties and fears, question old belief-systems and expand our awareness. Through transformational therapies, practices and rituals we can integrate knowledge into our body and access expansive states of consciousness.

This retreat accommodates from 4 to 8 guests across our beautiful, 400-year-old traditional farmhouses each with their own private pools and views to melt your senses.

Transformational week on the georguous island
We came expecting one outcome and left with so much more we couldn’t have wished for…
Incredible teachers, organization, level of attention to details, deliciously prepared meals, incredible nature and lots of learning and releasing of the baggage we carry with us. Apart from various sessions and workshops we were offered plenty of free time to reconnect with your emotions and feelings, nature and time to play and explore. Another takeaways is the value of making life long relationships with the like-minded women - precious gift.
I felt complete surrender to the experience and I think it’s still so raw but I will never forget this retreat.
Lots of gratitude for lovely ladies who provided guidance and care for our healing souls.

Slow Living Retreat July 2024
Attending Samudra was a life-changing experience for me. The retreat provided an excellent introduction to the 8 limbs of yoga, allowing me to deepen my understanding and practice.

One of the highlights of the retreat was the personalized 1:1 sessions with Mila and Luca. These sessions allowed me to address specific concerns and receive individualized guidance on my yoga practice.

The group sharing circles were another valuable aspect of the retreat. In these circles, we had the opportunity to connect with fellow participants and share our experiences and insights. It was inspiring to hear others' stories and perspectives, and the sense of community and support was truly uplifting.

The serene and picturesque island of Gozo added to the overall experience. The food provided at the retreat was nourishing and delicious.

The most transformative aspect of the retreat was the people I met. Instantly connecting with like-minded individuals who were also on their own journey of self-discovery and growth was incredibly empowering. We supported each other, shared our challenges and victories, and created lasting bonds. The sense of camaraderie and encouragement was truly transformative.

As a result of my time in Gozo, I have gained valuable experiences and lessons that have made me a better person. The retreat helped me cultivate a sense of stillness and inner peace, which I have carried with me into my daily life. It has also motivated me to make meaningful changes in my lifestyle, such as incorporating regular yoga and meditation practice, and prioritizing self-care and self-reflection.

I am immensely grateful for the time I spent in Gozo and highly recommend it to anyone seeking stillness, peace, and healing. The retreat provided a safe and nurturing environment for personal growth and transformation, and I believe it has the potential to positively impact anyone who chooses to embark on this journey.

Magically heartwarming
In one word: everything. As a starting point, the island and setting were magic. The houses are charming and soothing. I was having trouble sleeping before the retreat and there I slept like a baby and it continues now back home, that is one of the gifts I got from Samudra.

The instructors are a group of wise and spiritual women who made me feel like home every morning, every day.

The balance between the one to one sessions, time alone and group sessions was simply perfect.

It is actually quite difficult to put into words what this experience meant to me. I felt so privileged and grateful for having the luck to land in this slow living hidden universe.

Gracias ;-)

Wonderful and blissful
I am short of words to describe my experience in Samudra.
I went to the retreat alone, slightly anxious and hesitant. I left the retreat with a peaceful mind, rested, joyful, excited about life and last but not least with friends for life from all over the world.

Mila, Luca and Jade are truly wonderful and I felt at home from the first moment. Alone time, treatments and community time were in perfect balance.
The food looked beautiful, tasted great and was really fulfilling.

Im truly grateful to myself for going there and to the people of Samudra for being there.

I have recommended Samudra to all of my friends by now and I recommend it to you dear reader.
There is a magic in Samudra that cannot be put into words, only experienced!
