Day 1: Cusco - Trekking Adventure - Local Homestay
As the morning sun illuminates Cusco, we'll pick you up from your hotel for a scenic drive to the Sacred Valley. Here, our journey begins with an ancestral gratitude ceremony led by our Andean Shaman, setting intentions for the trek ahead. Over three hours, we'll ascend to breathtaking heights, passing serene lagoons and snowy mountain peaks.
Descending to Pucamarca, we explore ancient Inca ruins before reaching Huchuy Qosqo, a sacred site steeped in history.
In the late afternoon, we'll immerse ourselves in the customs of a local family, enjoying a traditional dinner before settling in for the night.
Day 2: Huchuy Qosqo Inca Site - Retreat Center
After breakfast at the local homestay, our local guide will delve into the intriguing history of the archaeological site. You'll have plenty of time to explore the impressive ruins, featuring sacred temples, farming terraces, storehouses, water channels, and the original Inca reservoir.
Following our exploration, a gentle 2-hour downhill hike will bring us to the quaint community of Lamay. From there, private transportation will ferry us to our retreat center in the tranquil Sacred Valley. Here, surrounded by the beauty of nature and majestic mountains, you'll have the opportunity to relax and unwind after our final day of hiking.
Day 3: Wachuma Ceremony (Plant Ceremony) - Return to Cusco
Today, we'll start early at 7 am. Before the ceremony, you can enjoy some teas or mates, but we won't serve breakfast as part of your diet before the ceremony.
Our Maestro Sanpedrero will lead the ceremony, beginning with a unification and cleansing ritual to remove negative energy. Then, we'll drink the San Pedro and start the main ceremony. After about 40 minutes, the effects will begin, and our Maestro will help ensure a positive experience while you have your own visions.
Throughout the day, we'll take breaks for fruits to keep you feeling good.
Around 4 pm, we'll begin our Mother Earth ceremony, a gratitude ritual to end the San Pedro ceremony. After that, we'll arrange transportation back to Cusco from our retreat center.
