About this Retreat
Susan Drury is a transformational teacher, healer, author, and guide.
At thirty, Susan was diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia - a condition so painful it is sometimes called the suicide disease. Conventional medicine offered no relief. And so she accepted, slowly and not without resistance, that this was a mystery only she could solve.
That acceptance became her apprenticeship. Over the years that followed, Susan trained in craniosacral therapy, shamanic healing, classical homeopathy, and the Present Child Method. She sat with teachers and with silence. She read neuroscience and the Tao te Ching. She learned, above all, to listen - to the body, to the soul, to the intelligence that moves through everything.
What she discovered - and what she has spent the last thirty-plus years helping others discover - is that nothing is beyond healing. Not the old grief. Not the inherited wound. Not the belief you have carried since childhood that something in you is fundamentally wrong.

RETREAT BY INVITED PRESENTER
For three days, we come together in a small, intimate circle to explore the potential for the inner radiance of our bodies. Incorporating meditation, journaling, breathwork, and movement practices, we will be exploring both light and shadow, and practicing the art of alchemy—sourcing greater peace, joy and love through experiential powerful practices.
BONUS: Add an extra day and stay for Susan's signature program Finding Your Voice.
"Susan's meditations have been a game changer for me. I can't speak highly enough about Susan and this community and the positive shifts I have had in my life since beginning."
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The body may seem dense and heavy, but in reality it is ever-changing - highly responsive to guidance, intention and action. Your relationship to your body and all that it holds is a gateway to experience greater freedom, wholeness, and joy. Our physiology relates not only to our physical experience, but also to our emotional, societal, and spiritual journeys. The physical experience of our body is shaped by non-physical aspects ... and reflects these to us.
Understanding and connecting with our body is a potent pathway to bring to light what is hidden, transform our challenges and fulfill our needs.
This retreat is an exploration of the higher potentials of your experience within your body beyond conditioning. We will work together with the deeper layers of reality - of our bodies, minds, and spirits.
During this retreat we will:
Explore the messages your body holds about yourself and your life
Work with the spectrum of physical expression, from challenges to the highest potentials
Bring into awareness your unique energetic blueprint and how it impacts your experience
Understand the conditioning and influences that have shaped your experience
Connect in circle with fellow explorers, discovering the shared threads in our challenges and realizations
Practice ritual, play, inquiry, and meditation as gateways to transformation
The retreat is an interactive guided journey through progressive layers of exploration - moving from the physical to the emotional, ancestral, and spiritual. Together we'll weave inquiry, play, ritual, and meditation to open new pathways of healing and transformation.
To support your arrival, Susan will also meet with you for a personal 30-minute Zoom session in the weeks before the retreat, helping you prepare for the transformational experience ahead.
ADD FINDING YOUR VOICE
Stay one extra night and add a one-day program exploring the connection between body and voice - uncovering the patterns that keep us silent and finding greater freedom to speak what is true for you with confidence, trust and love.
Our hesitation to say no, to freely express what we want or need, or to confidently share our views and talents often has roots in our past — and in our bodies. We can learn to hold back our words, silence our needs, or make ourselves smaller without even realizing it.
Together we will explore the hidden patterns that silence us — and rediscover the freedom to speak what is true. We will discover how to work with our internal fears around speaking so that instead of diminishing our voice, we can release the constraints on it and begin to express our true selves with confidence, trust and love.
Explore the hidden — and sometimes not-so-hidden — messages we received as children that shaped our freedom to speak honestly and express what we truly feel
Uncover the underlying silencer and the connection between voice and the nervous system — how our fight, flight or freeze response can affect our ability to speak, both literally and figuratively
Discover what blocks your voice from speaking your truth and soften the tension
Learn specific tools and techniques to strengthen and open your throat
Recognize and interrupt the vocal shut-down that happens when our nervous system is triggered
Discover the connection between your voice and your heart - so that even in speaking tough truth, you can do it with love
Find greater freedom in being heard, seen and expressed
In short we’ll begin to uncover these patterns and explore what it means to expand and express ourselves more freely.
