Retreat Highlights
- There are six types of iboga initiations that Mama Aline has to offer. Elombo is normally the initiation of choice if you do not have any specific problem or issue to address.
- However, if you do have something specific, Mbouba Yano or Mabandju or Ologue initiation might be your choice. All initiations awaken and develop the kundalini.
- The Dissumba is a special one that is only given to those who have received a prior initiation with Mama Aline.
- The Niembe initiation is normally only offered to Gabonese girls who request a rite of passage.

mama Aline is a master healer in the Bwiti movement in Gabon. Her mother introduced her to Bwiti from a very young age and her mother did the same and many generations before her the same.
Details of this retreat
A once in a lifetime full Bwiti initiation in the heart of Gabon, central Africa. Mama Aline will take you on a journey called the Elombo iboga initiation that will take place around full moon in januari. She will use freshly harvested 22 year old iboga (that is still wet, the original way to take iboga) in combination with rituals, dance and fire to take you into the mental garbage and clean in all out. It is a 8 day program, but arriving in Libreville means next day travel to Lambarene and last day travel back. So that amounts to 12 days total. For a full description please visit www.mamaAline.com.
Schedule
It is a very detailed program, but in a nutshell, welcome, introduction, interview, forest and water cleansing, initiation, rebirth ceremony and cooling down.

Accommodation
You are right in the middle of 2 national parks so you are inside the Gabonese jungle. We have clean water from a well that has a 5 step filter plus UV filter. We have a shower and normal toilet and a lot of measures have been taken to reduce the mosquito numbers. The rooms are in a cool stone building but the initiation will take place inside the Bwiti temple where it is warmer.

The main stone building has 4 rooms all with xxl mosquito nets and there is another wooden building with 4 rooms, also with mosquito nets.
