About this Retreat
LaToya Maria is a therapeutic specialist, ayurvedic wellness coach and sound therapist with over 15 years of experience in the fields of women’s health and mind-body education. She has facilitated workshops and retreats related to yoga, emotional wellbeing and holistic wellness all around the world. She is dedicated to making yoga and somatic practices accessible to all because wellness isn’t a luxury, it is our birthright! Known by many as an energy alchemist, LaToya expertly guides individuals and collectives on a holistic journey into embodiment, liberation and ease.
Chrissy is a passionate yoga/fitness instructor, retreat guide, SOMA breath work and sound bath facilitator and mindset/empowerment coach who has used movement, mindset work and self discovery practices to completely transform herself - body, mind and spirit.
After overcoming depression and completely transforming the very limited view of what was possible for her life, she has now made it her mission to help others heal and create a fulfilled, aligned and abundant life for themselves.

Getting Here
Directions
You can book your flight to Augusto C. Sandino International Airport (MGA) in Managua, Nicaragua.
We offer (free of charge) a taxi from Managua airport to us at 12.00 noon on Saturdays. And (free of charge) a taxi from Eden to Managua airport on saturdays at 9am. If you arrive another day or time, we can set up a taxi for you for 90 USD (one way).
Local buses are around 10 dollars, but are not convenient. Shuttles are 25-35 dollars. Shuttle companies are Iskra Travel, Caribe shuttle, and Casa Oro.
It is also possible to book your flight to Guanacaste Airport, before known as Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR), in Liberia, Costa Rica and you will have to cross the border to Nicaragua. We can arrange a taxi for 160 USD to Eden (one way) and there will be someone to help you cross the border.
Both options are around a 2.5 hour drive away.
If you want to book a taxi, let us know your flight details and we take it from there. Taxi’s need to be paid the moment they are booked and are non-refundable.
It’’s best to try to arrive between mid-morning and mid-afternoon and depart from 9am onwards, but you can also come and leave at other times. Taxi can be taken 24/7 or you can stay overnight near the airport.

Accommodation
During this retreat, you will be staying in Eden on the Chocolata which is an eco-lodge in a beautiful garden on the road named La Chocolata. The luxury cabanas have been built to give you the experience of living among nature without compromising on your comfort. Eden on the Chocolata believes in an ethical approach to all aspects of business and treads lightly on the environment, therefore it runs on solar power, and the glass, papers, and plastics are recycled. Inspired by nature, Eden has six 40-meter square private wooden cabanas. Every bungalow has its own king-size bed (or you can separate the bed into 2 single beds), mosquito net, fan, private bathroom, and balcony with a Nica-style hammock. Eden will be your home away from home where you can get into the habit of doing yoga, being active, eating healthy, taking the time to wind down, relax, and making new friends over family-style dinners.

This retreat center is located in a beautiful tropical garden with stunning views overlooking the jungle and ocean. The lookout bay is a 15-minute walk. It is a beautiful beach to walk around and relax. It has hammocks, a restaurant, and pool as well.
