Eden on the Chocolata is an eco-luxury retreat near San Juan del Sur in Nicaragua- a beautiful country that offers a warm and hospitable culture with a touch of adventure. Our guests will experience the raw and pure soul of Mother Nature that isn’t always easy to find in this modern world. Eden invites you to relax into a safe container AND to step out of your comfort-zone.

This retreat center is located in a beautiful tropical garden with stunning views overlooking the jungle and ocean. The lookout bay is a 15-minute walk. It is a beautiful beach to walk around and relax. It has hammocks, a restaurant, and pool as well. Another beautiful pristine beach is a 20-minute walk through nature, a beach hardly anyone knows about. A beautiful beach to go for a swim.

Directions
You can book your flight to Augusto C. Sandino International Airport (MGA) in Managua, Nicaragua.
We offer (free of charge) a taxi from Managua airport to us at 12.00 noon on Saturdays. And (free of charge) a taxi from Eden to Managua airport on saturdays at 9am. If you arrive another day or time, we can set up a taxi for you for 90 USD (one way).
Local buses are around 10 dollars, but are not convenient. Shuttles are 25-35 dollars. Shuttle companies are Iskra Travel, Caribe shuttle, and Casa Oro.
It is also possible to book your flight to Guanacaste Airport, before known as Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR), in Liberia, Costa Rica and you will have to cross the border to Nicaragua. We can arrange a taxi for 160 USD to Eden (one way) and there will be someone to help you cross the border.
Both options are around a 2.5 hour drive away.
If you want to book a taxi, let us know your flight details and we take it from there. Taxi’s need to be paid the moment they are booked and are non-refundable.
It’’s best to try to arrive between mid-morning and mid-afternoon and depart from 9am onwards, but you can also come and leave at other times. Taxi can be taken 24/7 or you can stay overnight near the airport.
