Ceylo Smits

Ceylo was born in the mountains of Kandy, Sri Lanka. Most of her life she was surrounded by nature, Ayurveda, meditation, yoga and plenty of room for personal development. By completing her medical studies in the Netherlands she gained deep insights into the human body, health and well-being of people. Since 2015 she has been working with plant medicines, magic mushrooms and medicinal mushrooms. Since 2018 she facilitates, organizes and guides retreats, ceremonies and workshops together with her love Martijn. From her holistic knowledge, experience with healing, respect for nature and her feminine intuition as a compass she provides experienced loving support.

Martijn Bosch

Martijn is naturally calm, caring and full love. He is happy with everything that has to do with nature, with love, self-development and growth. He has a passion to share everything he has learned and experienced in his own healing over the years with the world, to contribute wherever and however he can to the healing path of people, the collective and the Earth. Being busy and working with Holistic medicines for physical and mental well-being have become a driving force and way of live. Together with his life partner Ceylo he facilitates and guides ceremonies, workshops and retreats in which many tools are offered to be able to return to yourself and where healing can take place.

Fred Cozijn

Fred is a very experienced Traveler in other states of consciousness. He came into contact with Motherplant Ayahuasca in 2009, when he was in a deep depression. Healed by the Plant medicine, he followed the annual training for guiding with plant medicines at The Sacred Voyage. He became a guide and later a ceremony facilitator at this organization. Since 2017 he organizes Ayahuasca Ceremonies. He is in his element in the sacred Dimension, feels a deep connection with the Motherplant and is a brewer of Ayahuasca. He is described by Travelers as loving, gentle and powerful, understanding and caring, support and confidant, guiding and centered. He is also a Connected Breath coach.

The Ceremony room with wooden floor is spacious, cozy and pleasant to stay in for a long time. The conservatory forms a pleasant transition between inside and outside and is used as a dinning room. On the first floor are the 1 - and 2 person bedrooms. The nature around the location has a plenty of space and there is a fire pit.

The Hurnse Gaper farm, which has been converted into a course centre and is nice and cozy. It is situated in a beautiful spot on the floodplains of the Waal. Behind the dike stretches the nature reserve Hurnse Kil. There it is good to walk. Around the house is a garden, which invites you to walk and relax between activities.

Incredible experience - highly recommended

I've been wanting to do an Ayahuasca retreat for a while and was very intentional with choosing Ayaspirits. The venue itself is stunning and absolutely perfect, safe and surrounded by nature which is everything one can ask for when immersing in such a deep experience.

The ceremonies were beautifully conducted, Fred, Ceylo and Martijn know exactly what do to, how to guide and support each person, holding space to work through the journeys and providing comfort and support when needed. As we were a small group of 5, it was a very unique and intimate setting with people being open and lovingly supportive with each other.

The food was delicious, the ceremony room had everything one can dream of and I had very insightful and meaningful journeys. It helped that I thoroughly prepare based on Ayaspirits recommendations as the vessel was clean and the medicine worked as intended.

Thank you Ayaspirits for having me, this won't be my last journey with you :)

For everyone looking for an Ayahuasca retreat: this it the place and more importantly the experienced and skilled people you want to do it with <3

A Highly Professional and Therapeutic Ayahuasca Retreat

I attended a retreat of remarkable quality, where the integrity and professionalism of the facilitators stood out immediately. The team — especially a facilitator who is both a medical doctor and a therapist trained in EMDR, IFS and Nervous System work — offers a deeply respectful and grounded setting, far removed from any commercial or sensational approach.
The guidance before, during and after the ceremonies is structured and genuinely supportive. The integration tools, particularly the animal and archetype cards, provided a meaningful and accurate framework that helped orient my inner work, and felt far more appropriate than some overly interpretive approaches I have encountered elsewhere.
The ceremony takes place during the day and unfolds over several hours in silence, which creates a distinct kind of introspective space. In my case, the experience was less intense emotionally and visually, likely due to the nature of the brew used.
This does not diminish the excellence of the container. I would recommend this retreat to anyone seeking a therapeutic, respectful environment that truly centres integration and inner work.

A truly magical and healing weekend

Gosh it is difficult to summarise this experience. It is like having 10 years of therapy in one weekend. I have complex ptsd and the care the guides took was incredible. The dream team of Ceylo, Fred and Martijn.

This was such a heart centred supportive space where I felt safe to share my traumas and process them. It took me to a deeper level of healing and forgiveness.

Thank you for making this affordable and I will be coming back with lots of my fellow souls who are troubled. What a blessing I can’t think you all enough.
