EXTRAORDINARY program and team
If you're doing this research in search of a therapeutic experience with psychedelic medicine, I cannot imagine a more supportive "container" and setting than Eleusinia. Every member of the Eleusinia team is extraordinarily supportive, experienced, qualified, and compassionate. The setting is stunning. Food -- superlative. The arc of experience at Eleusinia is deliberate and purposeful. The experience is NOT easy physically or emotionally, and yet in every moment I felt cared for, tenderly, compassionately, confidently, calmly. The focus on neuroscience, anti-inflammatory effects, physiological benefits of psilocybin, etc. kept us grounded in rationality. The bodywork, breathwork, natural setting, and inclusion of traditional practices provided exactly the balance of mind, body, spirit that allowed me to feel wholly present to the experience. The work I did at Eleusinia was not easy. I have ZERO regrets about the challenges I took on in this unforgettable opportunity and experience.

I was looking for one thing and went home with another
I was looking for one thing and went home with another...
I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into, this is not my kind of thing. But after looking through dozens (hundreds?) of different potential destinations for psychedelic therapy, Eleusinia, rose to the top of the list. I didn't choose it because of the facility or the grounds it lay upon; although the resort-style residence that we slept, lived, communed, and dined in was far better than my expectation. I also didn't choose Eleusinia because of the convenience, or lack thereof; what appeared to be a hassle in terms of travel and eventual destination, ended up being one of the adventure's great advantages.
- The juice was worth the squeeze.
I went there seeking illumination, a new outlook on life and a new way to do life. I had no idea in what form that was going to come. Was it up to me to solely do everything on my own? Was it up to me to somehow find the inspiration within? That seems to be the way that it's been my whole life, so I expected nothing different. I was so wrong.
My preconceived notions about a psilocybin retreat were pleasantly shattered. I was worried it was gonna be a bunch of goofballs who hid their motive of partying behind the theme of personal growth. I feared that the people running the retreat would be totally unserious,
without the education and background of personal growth, and without any accountability to the outcome of their guests. Again, my preconceived notions were pleasantly wiped out. I could write a novella on the expertise, caring, quality, and professionalism of the staff. They are the true treasure of this experience (even the housekeeping/landscaping folks glided quietly behind the scenes conscientiously with elan)
What Jessica and Jay have built, is quite extraordinary, and will forever be a special place in my heart; already planning the return trip with some of the new friends I made at Eleusinia. This weary body, this embattled soul, and this high-mileage patchwork of a heart, left Eleusina unscarred, buffed-up, renewed and rejuvenated.
I could never have done this by myself, and now I get to stay in touch with these wonderful people and my newfound friends throughout the year with their post retreat integration program.
I've heard it said that when the student is ready, the teacher will appear, I did better than that. I was looking for something to subtly reengage the lower gears in my life and do things a different way. When I actually get to go home to is a new perspective on my life, with direct goal and action planning on how to achieve it, and the support of a handful of wonderful people working for and supporting you quietly and authentically from the background.
I was looking for one thing and went home with another. I'm a blessed man ~pb

Amazing retreat
I attended the 4 day retreat. Jessica and Jay, the owners, and their multiple staff prepare you to such an extent that there are no surprises and so that you will know what to expect. This is especially helpful when you're new to psychedelics like myself. I was really surprised because they've done multiple retreats with over a thousand people but neither the owners nor their multiple staff seemed burned out. I felt special and attended to and I felt their interest in me as a fellow human being was genuine Everyone was focused on making sure I had a fulfilling experience - which I did. Practical stuff- the rooms were cleaned on a daily basis, the grounds created a lovely atmosphere and were maintained well, the beds were comfortable, all food was provided, vegetarian, and definitely delicious for a non vegetarian like myself. I was one among nine other guests, a small group. It was definitely a warm and fuzzy atmosphere which had a positive impact on all of the attendees.

Beyond Special!
Eleusinia isn’t just a retreat. It’s a full-spectrum experience of science, ceremony, and soul.
It’s truly something special. The location is beyond stunning, surrounded by nature that immediately puts you at ease.
But what really makes it stand out is the team! Every single member of staff is friendly, compassionate, and genuinely cares. They tailor the experience to each individual, creating a space where it’s easy to trust, open up, and lean in fully.
The program goes far beyond a mushroom ceremony. It’s a carefully designed, deeply human journey that stays with you long after you leave. Every detail, from the setting to the structure of each day feels intentional and supportive.
This isn’t just a retreat; it’s an experience that leaves a lasting mark.
