-Overview
Each student will leave this 200-hour immersive program with practical knowledge of 45 traditional poses, embodied practice designing sequences, and the confidence to inspire students to love their bodies through the practice of yoga. The time during the training will be grounded in meditation and applying the philosophy and practice of yoga to your daily lives. Each student will have the opportunity to practice teaching small groups. This transformative 15-day intensive will open doors of perception and catalyze shifts in the way you relate to yourself, each other, and your yoga practice.
This program is special because it is designed to feel immersive, not intensive. The days are filled with diverse activities, inspired poolside seminars, and sunrise meditations to truly embrace the first sun touching the island.
The team is comprised of authentic wellness professionals, all dedicated to providing top-level education in a way that feels inspired and fun.

Directions

On Arrival Day:
Getting to Isla Mujeres is half of the adventure. Students can arrive to the property independently or can have our team coordinate transportation for a minimal cost. Should you choose to venture to the site independently, here are the instructions for arrival :

1.Fly to Cancun International Airport (you will want to aim to land between, but no later than, 3 & 4pm on the first listed day of your program. This will line you up to arrive with plenty of time to travel to the school.
2.Shuttle, taxi, or bus to Puerto Juarez Ultramar station (the boat departs every hour on the hour 7am - 10pm) this ride is about 20 minutes depending on traffic.
3.Boat to the island
4.Upon arriving to the island depart the boat and walk 50 meters to your left. There you will find a taxi station to travel to the site.
5. Taxi or bus to Villas Punta Sur located in Punta Sur in front of La Joya Hotel
6. Plan to arrive to site between 4pm-6pm if possible.

On Departure Day:
Students are asked to depart from the property before 9am on the last listed day of your program. You will want to keep in mind that the first ferry off of the island is not until 6am, so you likely willwant to select a flight that departs after 10am. ( Unless you plan to spend the night in Cancun or hire a private water shuttle.

Accommodation

The Jungle Accommodations are simple, comfortable, and surrounded by nature. The property is lush with greenery, regional flowers, and swaying palms. From your outdoor yoga shala, you will see over 100 species of plans, numerous breeds of regional birds, and bushes filled with bright red hibiscus flowers. Students will stay in apartments that are designed for either group or single occupancy preferences. All students will have their own beds in a shared or private room. Each apartment has a washroom - there is also a washroom at the shala and a shower near the pool. Suites are cooled with Caribbean breeze and fans. Their aim to keep their eco-footprint small is supported by not using AC. They ask that students are gentle on the resources, the island is limited in supply.

Students will have the good fortune of being less than a three minutes walk away from the shores of the Caribbean in both directions. Easily enjoyed are the calm swimming waters of the west, or the breeze cliff edges on the east.
Students can walk the relaxed streets in either direction to find swimming and shopping areas, live music, and even cultural centers. Less than 500 meters south of the center is the sacred traditional land of Punta Sur.
