Details of this retreat

Advanced Yoga Teacher Training is a necessary step for all 200hr certified yoga teachers, as well as practitioners who want to advance their practice and career. In a world full of yoga teachers with a basic 200hr education that serves as a foundation and a starting point, it is important to advance one’s studies in this enormous tradition that has so much to teach. In this Advanced Yoga Teacher Training course, we delve deeper into the esoteric yogic practices such as advanced Pranayama, Bandha, Chakra Sadhana and Mantra, as well as advanced Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga methodology, Yoga Psychology, teacher student relationship, importance of ritual, ceremony and creating sacred spaces, and integrating philosophy into movement practices. This course will move one through the true scope of asana and physical into an esoteric integrated practice that fosters a life with more alignment and peace. The teachings cultivate action that utilizes power versus force in the way we approach both our practice on the mat as well as life off the mat and provide one with the leadership skills necessary to stand out as a Yoga teacher with excellence and integrity.

The program is directed by Tanya Savitri Popovich, a senior teacher and Yoga Acharya (Master of Yoga) with a 20-year international teaching experience, MA in Indigenous Studies, certified Hypnotherapist, and a Leadership Coach.

We are a Yoga Alliance Registered School. Graduates will be able to register with Yoga Alliance at the RYT-500 Level upon completion of the program.
