About this Retreat
Your Guides
Since becoming a nun at 14, I have spent 17 years studying Buddhist philosophy, including Logic, Prajnaparamita, Madhyamika, Abhidharma, and Vinaya. Currently, I am completing the Geshema degree, equivalent to a Ph.D. My journey has deepened my understanding of reality, mind, and meditation, fueling my passion for sharing this ancient wisdom with others.

Dolma Ling Nunnery, located near Dharamsala in northern India, is home to about 250 Tibetan Buddhist nuns. Established in 2005 by the Tibetan Nuns Project, it offers a 17-year curriculum in Buddhist philosophy, debate, modern subjects, and ritual arts. This non-sectarian institute was the first dedicated to higher Buddhist education for Tibetan nuns, with much of its construction and upkeep managed by the nuns themselves.
