About this Retreat
Samantha, originally from New York, has spent the last four years in Bozeman, Montana, where she continues to cultivate her passion for movement. Growing up surrounded by her mom’s Pilates studio, movement has always been a central part of her life. It wasn’t until 2020, however, that she truly reconnected with her yoga practice, finding a deeper sense of balance and mindfulness on the mat.
In 2023, Samantha traveled to Moyobamba, Peru, to complete her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT), eager to share her love of yoga and its transformative power with others. Now, as a teacher at a local studio, her style focuses on Vinyasa Flow, blending fluid movement with intention and balance. Samantha believes in the power of conscious movement to align both body and mind, offering a practice that invites self-discovery, peace, and growth.
When she’s not teaching, Samantha enjoys exploring the natural beauty of Montana through skiing, hiking, and spending time with the animals at the local shelter, where she volunteers her time.
Nyri is a Bozeman, Montana based yoga teacher who first came to yoga while searching for a way to quiet a busy mind and reconnect with herself. Over the past decade, yoga has become a steady and meaningful part of her life. What began as a simple practice quickly grew into something deeper, and she found herself returning to her mat again and again, drawn to the way each movement and breath helped her feel more grounded, present, and at ease in her body. For Nyri, yoga became a space to step away from constant thoughts and simply experience the beauty of the present moment.
Nyri completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2022 through The Collective School of Yoga. She now guides classes that blend mindful movement, creativity, and intentional breath. Her teaching style is warm and approachable, offering both strength and softness while inviting students to move with curiosity and compassion. She loves creating supportive spaces where people feel safe to explore, slow down, and reconnect with themselves.
Off the mat, you can find Nyri running through mountain trails, baking or cooking up something delicious, diving into a good book, or taking on new personal fitness adventures.
Details of this retreat
This is a week-long gentle yoga and mindfulness retreat held in Peru’s Sacred Valley at the Munay Sonqo retreat center, designed to help participants pause, slow down, and cultivate sustainable daily practices.
Through accessible yoga, journaling, intention-setting, self-massage, and small daily rituals, we will explore together practices that feel natural, supportive, and easy to integrate into everyday life.
Nothing here is complicated or forced. The focus is on slowing down, listening inward, and discovering how small, mindful choices can support calm, clarity, and connection long after the retreat ends.
The program includes daily yoga classes, breathwork, meditation, and intentional workshops, all set against the backdrop of the Andes mountains with transportation, meals, and optional excursions included.
