Here at Salt of the Earth, we invite you to feel at home in
your yoga practice. Yoga in the West has seen many
transformations. We aim to bring it back to its healing
origins.
Stress and anxiety play a big part in our lives here on
Long Island. Whether it’s at your place of work, or your
everyday life, yoga can help us self regulate and calm
our nerves in times of high intensity and hectic worry.
Yoga helps with processing stress, building resilience, and
enhancing job performance.
We aim to adapt the yoga practice to anyone and everyone.
No matter your limitations, age, lifestyle, work life, or home
life, we specialize the practice to your needs so that you can
feel the benefits. Sometimes it feels more comfortable to
practice with others who have had the same life
experiences.
You will experience a focused, grounded approach to yoga
and most of all we invite you to feel comfortable in our
space and in your own skin.

Summer is a season of expansion, warmth, and vibrant energy. While nature flourishes around us, we often find ourselves moving just as quickly filling our calendars, chasing longer days, and giving more of ourselves than we realize.
The Still Waters Wellness Retreat at The Bellport Inn is an invitation to pause.

Surrounded by nature and the calming presence of the water, this intimate retreat offers space to restore your nervous system, nourish your body, and embrace the season with greater balance and intention.
Sunrise Meditation Walks
Begin each day with a peaceful walk to the water as the sun rises over the horizon.
Through guided meditation and mindful silence, you'll greet the morning with clarity, gratitude, and a renewed sense of presence.
Daily Yoga Practices
Each day includes thoughtfully designed yoga sessions that honor both the vibrant energy and restorative needs of the summer season. Our morning practice awakens the body with mindful movement, breathwork, and strength-building sequences to cultivate energy and vitality.
As evening arrives, our slower practice encourages the body to soften through gentle movement, restorative postures, and relaxation, creating space for deep rest and nervous system regulation.
Every class is accessible and intentionally adapted so each participant can experience the practice in a way that supports their individual body and needs.
Seasonal Meals Prepared by Our Private Chef, Jen
Enjoy nourishing breakfasts, lunches, and dinners thoughtfully prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients that celebrate the abundance of summer. Inspired by seasonal wellness traditions, each meal is designed to cool, hydrate, and replenish the body while bringing people together around the table to slow down, savor, and connect.
Sound Healing
Allow yourself to fully unwind during an immersive sound healing experience with our resident sound healer. The soothing vibrations of crystal & Tibetan singing bowls invite the mind to quiet, the breath to deepen, and the body to enter a profound state of rest. Healing also happens in the spaces between.
Relax in the wood-fired hot tub beneath the open sky, refresh in the outdoor showers, wander the property, read in a lounger, or simply sit with a cup of cool tea and listen to the sounds of nature.
