About this Retreat
Your Guides
With over 35 years of expertise in jazz dance, yoga, and Pilates, I proudly own a Pilates Studio in Zug, Switzerland.
As a second-generation Pilates Master, I hold a certification from Lolita San Miguel, a distinguished Pilates Elder and one of the few individuals certified by Joseph Pilates himself.
Additionally, as a teacher trainer for Peak Pilates USA, I have had the privilege of guiding numerous aspiring instructors to become fully comprehensive Pilates professionals.
Throughout my journey, I have trained with exceptional mentors such as Clare Dunphy, Kati Ross Nash, Pamela Garcia, Brett Howard, and many more.
Drawing from my extensive experience—over 40 years in teaching Pilates and training instructors, alongside my background in nutritional counseling and coaching—we embarked on an exciting venture with "Pandanu's" holistic Pilates Oasis.
Here, we invite you to discover a sanctuary where you can reconnect with yourself and elevate your consciousness on multiple levels.
Whether through our bespoke retreats or during a few serene nights in our beautifully illuminated bungalows, we are dedicated to supporting your journey toward holistic health in a paradise designed for rejuvenation and self-discovery.

7:00 AM – Fresh fruit juice and seasonal fruit
8:00 AM – Silent mindfulness walk in nature
8:30 AM – Pilates mat class (all levels welcome)
10:00–11:30 AM – Nourishing plant-based breakfast/brunch
11:30 AM–4:30 PM – Free time for relaxation, workshops, nature outings, or optional shopping trips
4:30 PM – Gentle yoga with deep relaxation
7:00 PM – Communal plant-based dinner or local restaurant experience
8:00 AM – Silent mindfulness walk in nature

How to get to Pandanus Retreats:
The nearest international airport is Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) in San José, Costa Rica. From there, it’s approximately a 2.5-hour drive to the retreat center, located near Ciudad Quesada in the lush northern highlands.
We recommend arriving at SJO and either renting a car or arranging a private shuttle with us. Public buses to Quesada are also available, and we can assist with coordinating transport from there to the retreat.

Our guests stay in thoughtfully designed jungle casitas that blend comfort with simplicity. Each room features natural materials, mosquito nets, air conditioning, and fans, to keep you cool, along with a semi-open jungle shower enclosed by glass — giving you the feeling of being immersed in nature while still enjoying comfort and privacy. You'll feel as if you're showering in the rainforest, surrounded by lush greenery and tropical sounds.
