We’re excited to welcome Donna Struntz of Handmade by Ying to Hidden Falls Farm Retreat!
Donna has graciously offered to share her skills and talents with our local quilting community by hosting a hands-on Day Retreat at the farm.  Space is limited so register fast!
You will love Donna. She is a passionate content creator and educator with over 12,000 followers on YouTube, where she shares sew-alongs, skill-building tutorials, tips & tricks, and weekly live sessions that encourage quilters to grow with confidence. Handmade by Ying means “Handmade by Grandma,” a reflection of Donna’s heart for teaching, community, and passing skills from one generation to the next.

About the Class
In this hands-on workshop, students will learn to create a foundation paper pieced (FPP) tulip block and transform it into a beautiful 20″ × 20″ throw pillow. This project is perfect for quilters who want to build confidence with FPP while creating a finished, functional piece.
Donna will guide students step-by-step through the process, sharing tips and techniques she’s known for in her popular sew-alongs and livestreams. Scrap fabric will be available to help bring each tulip to life.

Follow GPS directions to the retreat ceunter but please double check that you are coming in to the property from HWY 80. Look for the yellow bring mailbox and yellow brick entrance way on thr Right. Turn down the driveway and park near the yellow brick house.

Krista Moser Crimson Christmas Retreat
This was my very first retreat. It was an amazing experience. Hidden Falls is a beautiful place and the Host was over the top amazing. Kitchen has everything needed. The food was amazing and plentiful. The beds were so comfortable. And the overall facility was very clean, comfortable and welcoming. The workspace was very well equipped and spacious sewing stations.
Krista Moser was amazing. Her Trunk Show and story was incredible. Beautiful quilts! Krista was an excellent instructor. She was great at explaining and willing to help out. So friendly and kind and a lot of fun.
I met many great new friends and had so much fun. I can't wait to come back!

Absolute best retreat experience
It was the absolute best retreat weekend! Toni was the best hostess and Delana's food was delicious!! The retreat house was cozy and beautifully decorated for the holidays. Everything was super clean and neat. The creating space was enough for everyone to spread out and not be in each other's way. For quilters, all of the walls were design walls so you could hang your works in progress up.

AWESOME Retreat Venue - Don’t Hesitate!
Hidden Falls Farm Retreat is a perfect getaway! Beautiful setting, amazing facility, super attentive owner, and marvelous class offerings. In the 6 months since this new retreat space opened, I have attended multiple times including open sews, instructor-led quilt sessions, day classes, and most recently the Crimson Christmas retreat with the amazing and fun Krista Moser on-site. And I am already signed up for 2 retreats in 2026. If you’re on the fence about whether to visit, don’t hesitate! You won’t be disappointed.
