Do you have the call for a change? Would you like to let go of old patterns that hold you back from living the life you want? In this eight-day intensive breathwork retreat, Green Peace Inn Retreats will give you the opportunity in a safe space to face your emotions and feelings, which you may have avoided your whole life. You will learn how to let them go in love and to reconnect with your real power. You will take back 100% responsibility for your own life and meet your true self - the first step to a happy and self-determined life.

Daily we will practice breathwork, yoga, mantras, and affirmations to deepen the healing process in ourselves. Massages, healthy, tasty food, and an amazingly supportive group will help you to let go even more. Your breath will be your guide through this journey!

Discover yourself in the miraculous south of Sri Lanka. This Island is a magic place with beautiful green nature to find inner peace, to strengthen your body with yoga and to clear your mind and body with Breathwork. Sri Lanka is the home of Ayurveda, one of the oldest healing systems, which believes wellness depends on a balance between mind, body and spirit. This balance we will build up during the week and give you the space you need.

We will nourish you with healthy, vegan, plant-based food, all grown locally and if you like, get Ayurvedic treatments.

*Breathwork can be described as a portal and door to our internal and external worlds. In only one session, you can create space, expansion and opportunity for shifts, movement, insights, change, and the chance to come back to our bodies that hold us so dearly that work non-stop so that we may exist here and now.

Schedule

7.00 – 8.15 am: Wake Up Yoga – 75 min Hatha/Vinyasa yoga class based on the specific theme that day.

8.15 am: Tea Break

8.30 – 10:30 am: Group Breathwork Session – 2hr conscious connected breathing based on the charka theme specific to that day.

11.00 am: Healthy Plant-based Breakfast

12.00 pm: Free time/Talks/Massages/Treatments – During the afternoon, you will get Ayurvedic massages or treatments, have guided group talks, can relax on the beach or take a surf class, discover the south of Sri Lanka or just relax and read a book.

2.00 pm: Fruit Platter

5.00 – 6.30 pm: Sunset Yin Yoga – 90 min class based on the charka/element theme specific to that day with a long, deep relaxation in the end.

7.00 – 8.15 pm: Healthy Plant-based Dinner

8.30 – 9.00 pm: Meditation

Directions

-Arrival by airplane
Please book your flight to arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB). Transfers are available at an additional cost of 85 EUR.

-Arrival by train
Take a train from Colombo Fort to Weligama, Sri Lanka, and then take a TukTuk to Green Peace Inn.

-Arrival by bus
Take the Highway Bus to Galle or Matara and then a public bus or TukTuk to Weligama.

-Passport / visa
You need to apply online for a 30 day Tourist Visa.

Accommodation

We have seven rooms, all inspired by the nomadic way of life. The cosy character of Green Peace Inn comes from natural surfaces and earthy tones. Comfy pillows and hand-picked accessories add to the warm, bohemian atmosphere. All rooms are equipped with AC, fan and private bathroom, providing a fantastic sea view (second floor). You can book private rooms or share a twin room with someone else.

Green Peace Inn is an open space surrounded by nature & a beautiful coastline. In every corner, cosy places invite you to relax. The centre is located in Weligama Bay, on a quiet beach stretch and the city centre is just 3 minutes by the tuk-tuk.

We have two large yoga shalas. One is located on the 1st level, where the morning yoga, meditation, and breathwork practice takes place. The other is located on the rooftop, where we will end our days with yin yoga to sunset.
