How will these days unfold?
The most precious moments often happen between the lines of the itinerary.
In an unexpected conversation.
In a sunrise that leaves you speechless.
In a silence that suddenly begins to speak.
That is why we have created a journey that leaves space for both immersion and spontaneity — for meaningful experiences, but also for the moments that cannot be planned.
This is our path towards the heart of the Sahara:
Day 1 — Welcome to Morocco
Our journey begins in Marrakech.
As our participants will be arriving from different parts of the world, each of you will be personally welcomed at Marrakech Airport and transferred to our traditional riad in the heart of the ancient Medina.
There is no need to worry about logistics or arrival times—we will take care of everything from the moment you land.
Perhaps you'll stay awake a little longer, listening to the sounds drifting through the narrow streets.
Perhaps you'll fall asleep immediately after your journey.
There is nowhere to rush.
From the very first evening, we begin slowing down.
Day 2 — Crossing the Atlas Mountains
After breakfast our private vehicle will take us south.
Together we will cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n'Tichka Pass, the highest mountain pass in North Africa.
The road winds through Amazigh villages, valleys, palm groves and breathtaking mountain landscapes.
During this day our small caravan will travel almost 450 kilometres.
Little by little, the mountains give way to the desert.
The colours soften.
The light changes.
The air becomes warmer and drier.
By late afternoon we arrive in M'Hamid, the last village before the Sahara begins.
Dinner together.
Our first night on the edge of the desert.
Day 3 — Learning to Slow Down
There is no hurry today.
No long drive.
No checklist.
Only time to arrive.
Not only in Morocco.
But within yourself.
A slow morning.
The swimming pool.
Walking through the village.
Your first mint tea without checking the time.
The first conversations that don't need a destination.
Today we begin discovering the history, traditions and everyday life of Southern Morocco.
There will be our first cultural talks and an invitation to our first practice.
No pressure.
No expectations.
Just space to settle.
Day 4 — Following the Ancient Caravan Routes
Today we follow the footsteps of generations of caravans.
Our destination is Zagora, once one of the great gateways to Timbuktu.
The famous sign still reads:
"52 days to Timbuktu."
That was the time camel caravans once needed to cross the Sahara from this very place to Mali.
We will visit the regional museum before continuing to Tamgroute, a village known for its spiritual heritage and extraordinary green pottery.
We'll visit local artisans whose families have shaped clay here for generations.
Those who wish may enjoy lunch with local hosts before visiting the remarkable 17th-century Quranic Library, home to priceless manuscripts and Sufi texts.
In the evening we return to M'Hamid carrying another small piece of Southern Morocco in our hearts.
Day 5 — Beyond the End of the Road
Today the real desert begins.
Our luggage is loaded into 4×4 vehicles.
Soon the asphalt disappears.
Civilization slowly fades behind us.
Ahead lies Erg Chegaga, Morocco's largest sea of dunes.
The landscape becomes wilder.
Simpler.
More silent.
After several unforgettable hours crossing the desert we arrive at our Amazigh camp.
For the next three nights this will be home.
A place of vast horizons.
Silence.
Sunrises.
Sunsets.
Star-filled skies.
And conversations around the fire.
Here...
Time slowly loses its meaning.
Days 6 & 7 — In the Heart of Silence
Here the schedule becomes less important.
The rhythm belongs to the desert.
To the sun.
To the wind.
To the needs of the group.
Each day offers invitations rather than obligations.
Meditation.
Breathwork.
Conscious movement.
Ecstatic dance.
Rest.
Reading.
Writing.
Silence.
Long walks across the dunes.
Camel rides.
Sandboarding for those who wish.
Tea shared beneath an endless sky.
If circumstances allow, we may also spend time with a nomadic family who still preserve the ancient rhythm of desert life.
You may spend the day with the group.
Or wander alone among the dunes.
Freedom always comes before the programme.
Somehow...
Nothing happens.
And everything happens.
Day 8 — Returning Gently
We do not leave the desert abruptly.
After a relaxed breakfast we enjoy a little more time among the dunes before setting off with our local guides.
Crossing Lake Iriki, the Sacred Oasis, Erg Smar and other hidden landscapes, we slowly make our way back to M'Hamid.
We spend one final night at the same kasbah that welcomed us before entering the Sahara.
Only this time it no longer feels unfamiliar.
We know the courtyard.
The light.
The evening air.
Perhaps...
It already feels a little like home.
A warm shower.
Clean clothes.
A quiet dinner.
Time to let the desert settle within us.
Day 9 — The Caravan Turns North
Like the ancient caravans before us, today we begin our journey north.
Our first stop is the magnificent Aït Ben Haddou, one of Morocco's most iconic UNESCO World Heritage sites.
We'll wander through its earthen streets without rushing.
Taking our time.
Later we return to Marrakech.
To the very same riad where everything began.
The courtyard.
The aromas.
The quiet sounds of the Medina.
Everything is familiar.
And yet...
Nothing feels quite the same anymore.
Day 10 — A Garden Between Two Worlds
Before saying goodbye to Morocco, we spend our final morning surrounded by beauty.
We'll visit the enchanting Majorelle Garden.
Its Amazigh Museum.
And the Yves Saint Laurent Museum, where art, fashion and Morocco meet in extraordinary ways.
After the vast openness of the Sahara...
We return gently to colour.
To creativity.
To gardens.
To human imagination.
After the peaceful beauty of the Majorelle Garden and the Yves Saint Laurent Museum, it will be time to return to Marrakech Airport.
And then...
Like every caravan that eventually reaches its final destination, ours too will gently come to an end.
We will say goodbye and continue our journeys in different directions.
Yet each of us will carry something home that cannot be packed into a suitcase.
A little of the Sahara's silence.
Its vastness.
Its freedom.
Its ancient wisdom.
The road will separate us.
But what we shared beneath the desert sky will remain.
Perhaps, long after the journey is over, you will find yourself closing your eyes...
...and hearing the wind moving across the dunes once again.
A soft transition between two worlds.
