"Sometimes, it's hard to get back to who you are, we experience things in life emotionally that give the perception of changing us. Mago retreat helped me realize I never changed. I'm still a happy loving person, and my negative experiences in life don't shape or define who I am. It has made such an impact on me I decided to volunteer. I seen the power of Tao and want to learn more so I can help others who might have found themselves in a disposition similar to the one I had. I hope if you have been afflicted by negativity you can find peace. I couldn't find it on my own, thank you Amy and juniper!"

Experiences on Retreat
"It was the most beautiful experience. The staff was friendly and the rooms were immaculate.
The food was delicious and had plenty of choices to choose from. The grounds were breath taking as well as the sights of the mountains that surrounded Mago.
The connection I made with mother earth was ABSOLUTELY incredible. The course was very informative I learned more about the chakras and how to move our body to feel more energy. How to create more energy and how to keep the energy.
Although the moon did not show you could still feel its presence. It was powerful with energy and the Love from mother earth was felt all around. Thank you Mago! You will see me again."
"I had a wonderful time a the Mago Retreat. The training I had to do was in a location that was only a minute away walking distance. The staff is so amazing. Erica and Christina who work at the Welcome Center at Mago are absolutely wonderful. Erica is always there to help me if I need to purchase clothing and give great customer care making you feel happy with your purchase and Christina is excellent at customer service, always willing to help and making sure the customer is completely satisfied with their rooms that they stay in. Overall great scenery, great environment and great service!"
"The surrounding mountains with their beauty and the energy of their natural vortices welcome the visitor "home" to the peace and tranquility of Mother Earth. The retreat offers endless places to walk and to meditate. The flowering and fruiting trees, plants, birds and wildlife produce Earths blessings along with the care of attentive humans. The organic garden and the kitchen are splendid. The meals were absolutely delicious, plentiful and suited to every palate and allergy. 5 stars, highly recommended"
"This is an awesome place, I really had a wonderful experience, the people are beautiful souls, the food is healthy and delicious, the cabins are very clean and comfortable . I would recommend this place to anyone who is seeking spiritual healing and happiness."
"I had a wonderful experience at the MaGo Retreat for the 120 Meditation School in June, 2018. The teachers/Masters were fantastic. I was the unfortunate student who slipped on a hill and turned her ankle. Immediately, I felt surrounded by love! Two of the Masters acted as living crutches to help me walk off the hill. They gathered an ice bag, a cane, and an Ace wrap, and moved me by an electric cart to my room. They tucked me into my bed, and examined the ankle. As a retired nurse, I agreed it was sprained, not broken. One of them (Master Han) obtained a take out meal from the diner, while Master Shin performed a healing ceremony over my upinjury. I missed one class, but was taken to the afternoon class via the cart. There, I was placed in a chair with my leg on a second chair @ and a fresh ice pack. I was ferried back and forth to my room, classes, and the diner. Other students drew on their life experience - an acupuncturist did a procedure that greatly diminished my pain, and an acupressurist helped the next day. Everywhere we went, I was assisted on stairs, into and out of the van, offered ice bags. I literally felt surrounded by love and healing. I’ve has sprained ankles before - I was weight-bearing with the cane the second day, and continued to heal rapidly during the retreat. I have noted a slowing in the healing away from Sedona, but still making progress."
"The 120 retreat has great content. The teachers were very dedicated enthusiast and really knew their stuff. The food was the best. Location beautiful. Accommodations were clean well built and comfortable. It was life changing. Heart warming. I came out of it better able to see peace and our own great natures in myself and others. I will go back again."
"It was a wonderful experience. My boyfriend and I went. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were courteous and the teachers very serious. We would both like to return someday. Jeanne Campbell"
"I have retreats 2 or more per year and always is a great experience, Mago Garden is a magical place to enhance your wisdom and to connect completely with Nature and very important your own connection .. Dorms are appropriate.. Organic food great teachers ????????"
"It is a place as no many can be found. Only several miles from Sedona and less than 2 h drive from Phoenix, but light years away from all the traffic, noise and activities of modern cities. It is the place to enjoy moments of silence, serenity of nature, our thoughts, solitude, in a well balanced luxury and great food provided 3 times a day."
"This retreat facility has it all. You can hike, swim, use the healing garden and meditate. I highly recommend."
"The Sedona Mago Retreat Center is a beautiful facility with all the necessary creature comforts settled in the midst of our natural habitat. For me this makes it all perfect. Good food, prayerful presence and refreshing!"
"I spent two night at the retreat center on the spur of the moment. The first night was very difficult as I could not fall asleep. The concrete floor in the bedroom was so cold and the heater cycled on and off every few minutes. I almost checked out the following morning.
Thank goodness Mu Shim had time for me. Over the next day and a half we had 3 sessions. Mu Shim is really fabulous, I cannot say enough good things about her."

"I didn't know what to expect. Barracks? Up at 4 in the morning? Vegetarian food and no wine? I believe that while I participated in the workshop, much was so new and different to my life thus far. But now that I have returned home, although I am still stumbling through the concepts and practices, I see and feel the value of my 3 days in the Red Rocks. The staff and team were lovely, knowledgeable people. Their genuine desire to share ways in which they have found personal peace was palpable. My eyes were definitely opened. I desire to grow in the teachings. I hope to return some day as well."
"Sedona Mago was the perfect setting for training and retreat. The grounds are beautifully kept and thoughtfully designed to promote introspection and healing. My room was comfortable and very clean. The food was OUTSTANDING. the common areas were very well maintained. All needs and comforts were considered and attended to."
"My experience at Sedona Mago Retreat was well worth it! I would go back for more experiences."
"If you're looking for a place to truly connect with nature, experience energy, and brighten your spirit, Sedona Mago Retreat is unbeatable. The facilities and accommodations are simple and well cared for- nothing fancy, but nothing too fanciful either. The surrounding landscape is truly a treasure- off the beaten path (the drive in seems long, but it's worth it), with some of the best overlooked red-rock panoramas in the area. The natural beauty is enhanced by the feeling that you are staying in a place that is practical as well as pristine. The welcome center is well-stocked with a variety of items, from clothing to crystals to snacks for midnight munchies. A 24 hour lounge allows computer access for those who need to check email the old fashioned way, and the dining hall serves 3 high quality buffet style meals regularly each day. Whatever program you're attending, Sedona Mago Retreat will surely enhance the value of your experience."
"My husband and I recently returned from a 3 day stay at the retreat. We were there between programs, so were there to spend a relaxing few days. Everything was better than we had anticipated. The grounds are gorgeous, as is the landscape that surrounds you here. The atmosphere is peaceful and inspiring; we loved walking the meditation trail around the lake. We were very happy with our room. The food was amazing, we loved every meal, they were healthy, perfectly prepared gourmet meals, some of the best food I've had anywhere. I definitely hope to return and highly recommend to others."
"The staff was warm and helpful, especially Forest. I had to cancel a night and he was very understanding and waived the fee. The food was incredible! It made me want to go vegetarian. I felt great after 3 days of healthy eating. Now the land, so peaceful with waterfalls, twisted trees and big beautiful nature placed flat red rocks. The retreat center was perfect and my retreat with Linda Star Wolf was amazing. Thank you and I'll be back.
