"The retreat was a life-changing event for me. Carolina, Marco, and Jorge had a positive energy to share with the group and me. They are very caring and loving people. They listen to everything you say and guide you. They prepare you and get you into the mindset you should be in for ayahuasca (Plant Medicine). They are always watching over you for your safety and others. They accomplish this by keeping the size of the group small. You can tell and feel how much they love what they do. "I was looking for someplace safe and comfortable to try Ayahuasca. I'm a grounded, rational person who thought that taking this might help me gain perspective on past trama and the impacts it was having now on my personal and professional life . I booked with them because they had a doctor onsite for the ceremony. Their schedule seemed like a methodical process to prepare you for this experience, and Carolina was quick to answer questions. Logistically they also handled all the transfers to the retreat, and provided meals that would accommodate my allergies. So I booked..... These 3 individuals, Caroline, Marco, and Jorge are some of the most authentic loving and caring humans I have ever met. From the moment I arrived I was thrown off guard by how they wanted to serve and connect, they wanted to know who I was as a person so they could help me find the most out of this process. The entire week was carefully curated to build love, trust, and confidence amongst them and the people around you. They gave me rational insight into what I was about to experience and gave me real tools to ensure i could come back to myself throughout the journey. They laid the ground work for you to feel safe amongst the other participants. It was foundational to an intimate experience. I made life long friends, we laughed, we cried, we felt loved. Before the first ceremony I came into the space a bit early, I watched from a distance as Carolina went around and prayed and cleansed (spiritual) the space. Although I am not religious or particularly spiritual it put me at ease to know the convictions these people had were still there even when no one was (suppose to be) watching. I got exactly what I needed from this experience and I will be forever grateful to all that were involved on this journey. "Carolina, Marco and Jorge curated a well thought out program to prepare you for your ayahuasca ceremony and reintegrate the insights in your daily life. They create a safe space to open up to yourself and others. The yoga and meditation sessions are adapted to the level of the group. (All 3 of them are certified yoga teachers) They only invite Taita’s to the retreat which they’ve personally worked with before and trust to take care of the group. "This is my second retreat for ayahuasca so I thought I knew what to expect but I have to say that they blew through my expectations. The ancestral retreats team created a retreat that was both challenging and comfortable throughout . A retreat that was created with the utmost care and thoughtfulness. The ayahuasca ceremonies were two of the most illuminating moments of my life. The activities outside of the ceremonies thought me how to incorporate mindfulness in the most useful and practical ways possible into everyday life. The venue was gorgeous and the meals delicious.
