About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Founder of The Alma Sanctuary • Yoga & Embodiment Guide • Holistic Wellness Practitioner Liz brings a grounded, deeply practical approach to healing—one that honors the fullness of everyday life. With ten years of personal practice and a wide range of professional training, she helps women reconnect to presence, soften into their bodies, and create mindful, sustainable rituals that actually fit into real-world routines. A certified 200-hour yoga teacher with additional training in Trauma-Informed Yoga, Yoga Therapy for Anxiety, Sound Healing, Herbalism, and Breathwork & Meditation, Liz blends nervous system support with soulful embodiment. She also holds a certificate in Holistic Nutrition and Wellness Coaching from Harvard Medical School, allowing her to guide the retreat experience through both a scientific and intuitive lens. She is especially passionate about helping women reclaim the parts of themselves that have been quieted by survival mode, self-doubt, or chronic stress. Liz’s teaching style is warm, welcoming, and rooted in the belief that every woman already carries her own wisdom—she simply needs the space to hear it again. Her mission is to create retreats that feel like coming home to yourself: intentional, nourishing, deeply human, and infused with quiet everyday magic.
