About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Megan Cassamas is a yoga teacher, somatic practitioner, ceremonialist, and holistic women’s wellness guide with over a decade of experience holding intentional spaces for healing, rest, and transformation. She is the founder of MOJA Yoga & Wellness and has been teaching embodied movement and mindfulness-based practices since 2013.
Her work integrates somatic-based yoga, nervous system regulation, meditation, ritual, and nature-based practices. Megan is extensively trained in prenatal and postnatal yoga, birth and postpartum support, somatic education, herbalism, and Ayurveda, allowing her to support participants through a whole-person, cyclical approach.
Megan has facilitated retreats, workshops, and weekly gatherings locally and internationally, and has been a regular teacher at Esalen Institute since 2021. Her facilitation style is trauma-informed, intuitive, and relational, creating environments where participants feel safe to slow down, listen inwardly, and reconnect with their bodies in an embodied and meaningful way.
