About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Cheyenne is a Registered Clinical Counsellor who brings warmth, compassion, and curiosity to her work. Her personal healing journey has shown her the importance of creating a safe, non-judgmental space where people can openly share their experiences. Cheyenne believes that what we resist tends to persist, and that turning toward our feelings, rather than away from them, can be deeply healing. In counselling, she incorporates Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) to help clients identify, examine, and process emotions while exploring how present experiences and relationship patterns may be shaped by the past.
The foundation of Cheyenne’s work is based on Carl Rogers’ belief that people naturally move toward growth and healing when the right relational conditions are present. By embodying unconditional positive regard, empathic understanding, and genuineness, she aims to create a supportive space where people can learn to trust their inner healing intelligence and move toward growth and healing.
