Andrea Simpson-Fowler

Andrea Simpson Fowler is a dance educator and arts leader whose work centers on creativity, reflection, and community connection. As the Executive Director and Founder of the Heart of Riverdale, she has spent decades supporting artists and young people through dance and arts education grounded in belonging and care.

Andrea also founded Cabins Over Crag Lake, a wilderness retreat space designed to host a wide range of creative and wellness gatherings.

Andrea’s work in dance education and retreat creation reflects a deep belief in the arts as a powerful tool for personal growth, clarity, and meaningful change.
