Stef holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Idaho and a Master of Social Work from Portland State University, and is currently working toward licensure as a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW). Since 2010, Stef has worked in social services, supporting survivors of domestic and violence and serving as a case manager with the Department of Human Services. Their work is grounded in a deep understanding of how both systemic and individual oppression contribute to trauma, and a commitment to helping individuals and communities create greater equity and healing. Stef is especially passionate about expanding access to resources and opportunities in rural communities, with a focus on supporting those who identify as LGBTQIA+. They completed Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy training through the Integrative Psychiatry Institute and Internal Family Systems (IFS) training in 2024, bringing a trauma-informed and integrative approach to their work. Outside of their professional life, Stef enjoys spending time outdoors, gardening, and being with family. They are also a founding member of the Divine Earth Church.
