About the Teacher

Why study with them?

OUR HOUSE co-founder Camila (she/her) is a clinical social worker, psychotherapist, and facilitator specializing in trauma healing, psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, and non-ordinary states of consciousness. She maintains a private practice in New York and is a Licensed Natural Medicine Clinical Facilitator in Colorado.
Her work integrates Somatic Experiencing®, Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, Compassionate Inquiry, breathwork, and psychedelic integration therapy. She draws from both contemporary neuroscience and traditional wisdom to create grounded, compassionate spaces where people can safely explore healing, deepen self-awareness, and reconnect with their innate capacity for growth.
Camila has extensive experience facilitating ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, psilocybin preparation and integration, and ayahuasca ceremonies in Peru, her country of origin. She has completed specialized training in MAPS MDMA-Assisted Psychotherapy, Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy, Harm Reduction and Integration, Ketamine-Assisted Therapy, Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy, and is a Breathwork Facilitator.
Whether working with individuals or groups, Camila's approach is trauma-informed, relational, and deeply respectful of the intelligence that emerges through altered states of consciousness. She works to bridge clinical excellence with reverence for the healing traditions that have stewarded these medicines for generations.
