Iola Kreizman
About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Her own healing journey has been deeply rooted in movement, dance and the body. For many years, before she had language for it, dance was how she moved energy, emotion and trauma through her system. This lived experience has shaped her devotion to somatic work, emotional release and movement as a powerful form of healing.
Iola brings a warm, real and grounded presence to the spaces she holds. Her work is deeply connected to the inner child, play, freedom, ritual and the permission to feel fully. She believes that grief and trauma need safe spaces where the body can speak, emotions can move, and all parts of ourselves are welcome.
Alongside her work with The Grief Retreat, Iola is studying naturopathy and has trained in a wide range of healing modalities, including acupuncture, massage, yoga, cacao ceremony, shamanic practices, Tantra, divine feminine work and trauma informed facilitation.
She brings together her love of realness, playfulness, ritual and dance to support people to come back into connection with their body, their grief, their heart and their aliveness
