About the Teacher

Why study with them?

Rob Bill Jr is a men’s coach, trainer, breathwork facilitator, meditation teacher — and more importantly, a husband and father who lives what he teaches.

He grew up — like many — without a real map for manhood.

His parents divorced when he was young.

His stepfather spent time in prison.

His family history includes cardiovascular disease, heart attacks, and reliance on 20+ medications.

He followed the expected path, climbed the corporate ladder, made a great deal of money, stayed physically fit through CrossFit, but found himself gripped by panic while driving on I-94 outside Chicago, realizing he was living on the edge of burnout.

He chose to step out of corporate life and begin living for himself and his family rather than for a paycheck.

The transition was difficult.

He spent 18 months studying at the Temple of Kriya Yoga, exploring breathwork, meditation, and ancient practice, while also studying nervous system regulation through the HeartMath Institute.

From this, he built what he had wished for earlier: an embodied training system for inner leadership across self, marriage, and fatherhood.

In 2025, he faced one of the most difficult years of his life as a man, husband, and father, with financial pressure and uncertainty that nearly cost him his home.

Rather than collapse, he doubled down on his training in breathwork, meditation, and spiritual practice, and strengthened his relationship with God through it.

As a result, his marriage and relationship with his children became stronger than ever, and he is now fully present with his family in a way he wasn’t before.

His work sits at the intersection of physical fitness, nervous system science, and ancient masculine development.

He teaches men to release what holds them back, develop emotional and physical resilience, build a sacred partnership with their partner, become a stable presence for their family, and lead with integrity across generations.

He is the founder of Order of Kings, Forge, Uncommon: The DadWork podcast, the KIVA Initiatory Retreat, and the Patriarch Summit, all dedicated to rebuilding men, restoring fathers, and strengthening family and moral leadership.

The right leader at the right moment for me.
First, this particular retreat was perfect for me at this time in my life. I don't say that lightly.
I have had too many personal and nearly catastrophic life events happening over the last 1-2 years that put me in a situation that desperately needed this kind of reset.
Then, on top of that Rob was a co-leader. Which meant that he brought his own special brand of grace mixed with challenge so that I was able to simultaneously deeply relax but also find new energy to confront emotions and beliefs that had lingered far too long. For me and for a weekend, he took on the role of spirit guide, coach, father figure, healer, and role model. He's a gifted person but that undersells his own deep commitments to his practice. To showing up every day, for the respect and sensitivity to meeting people wherever they are at. To the discipline and professionalism that I witnessed.
I hope that for anyone reading this, that if you share an experience a retreat with Rob - I hope that it is an deeply healing and inspiring for you as it was for me.
