About the Teacher
Why study with them?
I am Nicola Schaefer, systemic life coach, mentor and certified yoga teacher.
I have lived in Vilcabamba, Ecuador for three years. I know the curanderos personally. I speak Spanish and translate everything for you. I regularly sit alongside them in plant medicine ceremonies, not as an observer, but as a guide and integration coach.
I know the pain you might be carrying. Not from a textbook. I went through my own collapse, my own silence, my own long way back to myself. This retreat is what I would have needed back then.
What I bring:
Seven years as a certified yoga teacher, including therapeutic yoga for every level and ability. I teach all sessions in German and meet every participant exactly where they are.
Trained in holding psychedelic ceremonies by an indigenous tribe in the Amazon. I work as a Psychedelic Integration Coach, accompanying people before, during and after plant medicine experiences is not an add-on. It is central to what I do.
Three years living in Vilcabamba. I know this valley, its healers and its rhythms from the inside. I help you with travel planning, preparation and every question you have along the way. There are no bad questions.
I know the way. And I walk it with you. Safely, authentically and with deep respect.
