Dr. Monnica Williams is a board-certified clinical psychologist, Canada Research Chair in Mental Health Innovation and Equity, and Professor in the School of Psychology at the University of Ottawa. She is also the Clinical Director of Behavioral Wellness Clinics in Connecticut and Ottawa.

An internationally recognized researcher and clinician, Dr. Williams has extensive expertise in the treatment of PTSD, anxiety disorders, trauma, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. She is a leading voice in advancing equity, cultural responsiveness, and inclusion within psychedelic medicine and mental health care. Her work has helped shape best practices for delivering psychedelic-assisted therapies to diverse populations.

Dr. Williams teaches graduate-level courses in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies for Mental Health and has published more than 200 peer-reviewed articles and scholarly works. Through her clinical, research, and educational leadership, she has become a respected advocate for safe, ethical, and culturally informed psychedelic care.
