Why study with them?
Jan Whiten (Deaconess– APRN, MS, HTCP, HTSM-CP/I), also known as Jana Marie, is a holistic nurse with almost 40 years of experience working with adults in acute care, home care, nursing education, and mental health. She maintains a private practice as a psychiatric nurse practitioner where she integrates Healing Touch and other holistic modalities. As a Deaconess in the United Methodist Church, she follows her calling as congregational health minister/ leader of healing ministry, providing spiritual direction, and leading retreats. Jana Marie feels deeply called to healing ministry and to helping others to be themselves fully. She has a Master’s Degree in Community Health Nursing, graduate certificate in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing, certificate in Congregational Health Ministry, and certificate in Spiritual Direction. Her dream is to transform her practice to provide Healing Touch and Aromatherapy.
