Why study with them?

Celia Panduro Huayta is a traditional Maestra Curandera, from the Shipibo-Conibo tribe. She has been working with the plant medicine for the last 25 years. The Shipibo tribe is one of the largest and the oldest indigenous groups of the Amazon, nowadays the Shipibo tribe is centralized around the jungle city of Pucallpa. As a result of being one of the largest tribes, the Shipibo culture produces more traditional healers than any other tribe in the Amazon.
Celia, like many in the shipibo tradition, comes from a long lineage of healers, she was raised from childhood learning about the plants and its medicine. In adult age she felt the calling from her ancestors to become a Curandera. She is known for her icaros, her knowledge about the plants to heal both common and rare symptoms. as well as drinking ayahuasca and other plants to receive visions and insights into her future.
Nowdays Celia facilitates Ayahuasca Ceremoniess. She also offer healing programs and traditional shamanic dieta initiations for for both locals and foreigners, allowing them to heal & learn with the Amazonian plants. Celia is a healer, and has made a commitment to this path for life, with the goal of bringing a better quality of life to all.
She also administers healing remedies and plant baths. She also make and sell her traditional Shipibo handcrafts. All of her creations are a paying of homage to the sacred union between the plants and the healing traditions of her beloved ancestors. Her persona is sweet and joyous, and in ceremony she presents herself with power and conviction, holding a safe, healing and loving space for all who enter her Center
