About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Ariadni Nanou studied Greek literature majoring in linguistics, while her main influence, even as a student, was the research and work of Altani. She continued her studies in directing and cinematography, in pre-school and primary school pedagogy with a main focus on education through play, cooperative teaching, theatrical play and education in forest schools. She completed degree programs in the cultivation and use of herbs, beekeeping, viticulture, permaculture and natural cultivation with the main motivation and vision of participating in the creation of an eco community. She completed the school of narrative art, the two-year workshop of the Porta Theater on educational drama and worked intensively as a manager of children's groups and educational programs at Paixnidagogeio, the Museum of Tales and various other institutions. She worked as a script on television shoots for private and public television.
Her great love was and remains reiki, in which she trained intensively for about seven years as she completed in 2019 the three-year cycle of spiritual studies with her teacher, Dionysia Klarnetatzi. She knows and practices traditional reiki and other systems, such as Shamballa Reiki, Archangelic, Crystalline, Twin Flame Reiki, Children's Reiki, Merkaba Reiki, etc. Her vision of a dance school with ancient roots but with the possibility of modern understanding and assimilation of their spiritual dimension, led her to create the Kallichoro school in Athens, where her dance teachers co-create an environment in which the body can be trained in old and new techniques but also to nourish the soul and spirit. At the same time, her love for art in general, its therapeutic dimension as well as the ever-increasing acceptance of alternative therapies, led to the creation of Ananda Unity, a space to practice, offer our services and receive healing and holistic renewal and to experience the bliss of unity with Self and Kosmos and the joy of Life. Music, eurythmy, dance, song, storytelling, theatre, the imaginative arts, are universal tools for our original expression, the experiential discovery of the truth of the Self and the Archetypes and these are the axes of our work in the school.
