About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Both Radek and Charlie are certified Wim Hof Method Instructors and specialise in
delivering WHM Workshops and Retreats near their hometowns in the Peak District,
UK and in the Czech Republic.
With a lifelong interest in health, wellness, nutrition and over 30 years teaching
experience between the two, both Radek and Charlie have developed a passion for
teaching more holistic ways of enhancing both the body and mind. In addition to
Breathwork and Cold Exposure Sessions, they have developed and deliver a unique
‘Mindset Coaching Course’ to enable people to face their fears, push beyond their
current ‘comfort zone’ and work towards bigger and better future goals - whether
these be personal, health, relationship or career focused.
“It often starts with a single breathwork session, and then, like the flick of a switch,
the mind is open and ready to seek more, to do more, to experience more and,
ultimately to accomplish more. We love to see the whole journey people make with
their own wellbeing, which is why we enjoy guiding people for multiple day events.
“Through practising the Wim Hof Method ourselves, we began to explore our world
with a different perspective. We feel connected to nature more than ever, we seek
adventure at every turn, we face our fears and take more risks and we have learned
to think really ‘BIG’ in terms of our goals. More importantly, we have made it our
mission to pass on our knowledge of the benefits of the Wim Hof Method and
everything else in our teaching toolbox to as many people as we can reach, so that
everyone has the chance to pause, to reflect and to reconnect with themselves in
this fast-paced world”.
Charlie, a qualified Modern Foreign Languages Teacher & Fitness Instructor, who
worked in State Secondary Schools for 17 years, also has a background in
performance sports - mainly cycling, running, skiing and swimming. Her personal
interests now focus more on the physiology and the neurology of effective
breathing, cold exposure and sleep for optimising overall health as well as for
improved sporting performance. These days she likes to move more in-line with the
mind by doing yoga, hot yoga, balance work and calisthenics.
