Why study with them?
“I started my wine tours company, Vin en Vacances, in 2009 after teaching the subject of wine in the UK for a number of years. I was never someone who took tours, I wanted to discover it all for myself and the idea of joining a group and following each other like sheep never appealed to me.
Then one day whilst in Brittany I joined a tour of Mont Saint-Michel and was blown away by the experience. The guide was passionate about Saint-Michel, was deeply knowledgeable and brought the place and the story alive. She gave us something we could not have created for ourselves and that is what my team at Vin en Vacances aim to do for you.
My love for the Languedoc-Roussillon region and its wines began 20 years ago and since then I have seen enormous changes as the region’s wine-makers have ushered in a revolution in quality. By watching and listening and becoming part of the region, I too have learnt a great deal and I would love to share this with you. I enjoy taking people off the beaten track to hidden vineyards to discover the passion and individuality that these extraordinary wine makers put into their wines.”
