About The Teacher

Ginger started working in water ski shows at the age of 12. After 11 years of performing in shows around the world she married and started a family. In 2008 Ginger found her way back into the professional world of athletics and fitness when she and her husband opened CrossFit Georgetown, a strength and conditioning gym. While Ginger had practiced yoga sporadically throughout her life, she fully dedicated herself to her practice of yoga and meditation when she found it to be a perfect yin balance to CrossFit’s yang energy.

In 2014, Ginger completed her 200-hr yoga teacher training through School Yoga Institute, with a focus on meditative healing and holistic cleansing in Troncones, Mexico. Then in the summer of 2016, she furthered her training by completing a 300-hr YTT in Peru through Kula Collective, during which she deepened her experience and education in anatomy, Ayurveda, and the transformational healing power of Shamanic plant medicine.

Ginger is a certified E-500 RYT with Yoga Alliance, level 3 Reiki practitioner, Thai Bodywork practitioner, and certified SOMA breath instructor. She loves to incorporate strong breathwork, creative sequencing, and personal empowerment into her classes, retreats and trainings. She believes in creating a sacred space for class, making her students feel valued through heartfelt connections, mindful, hands-on adjustments, and teaching through the lens of love and respect.
