About the Teacher

Why study with them?

Mano has been on the path of traditional healing for 20 years. He lives in Mexico where he received teachings of traditional medicine and ceremony, and trained in the Amazon rainforest, in the ‘Uwishin’ lineage of his Ecuadorian medicine family. He is a traditional medicine singer and player of native instruments such as the Shuar monochord and violin, Kichwa harmonicas, flutes and guitar, and sings in both Amazonian languag as well as in native Mexican Nahuatl and Spanish. Currently training as herbalist, he works as physical therapist offering 'limpia's', thorough massages that may include both Vedic methods (warm oils) and shamanic energy work (alignment, energetic cleansing, and aroma-, song- or even medicine-assisted therapy) to help resolve or ease pains or unknown blockages.
